Vitalhotel Gosau

A picturesque village to stay if you are on your way to Salzburg or Hallstatt. The Vital hotel experience was amazing to begin with. Tucked away from the traffic is this beautiful ski resort. The fresh smell of pine hits you the moment you enter and the staff greets you with a warm smile on a snowy day. The place is beautifully decorated for Christmas and is a perfect place to be during the winter holidays. The town offers basic amenities with a large convenient store and electronic stores nearby. The hotel also has Airbnb rooms which is what we booked. The host was great and our stay was really comfortable.

Gosau is stunning - the lake is literally ten minutes on the bus and Hallstatt is only 20 minutes. Lovely hotel and great stay

A great place to stay and enjoy your winter holidays, the meals were really tasty, personnel very attentive and helpful, the hotel itself is nicely decorated, rooms are spacious and clean, and the spa large enough to relax even when the hotel is full. There is also a kids playroom, a gym with a variety of equipment. Also, it is situated close to the touristing routes and near ski slopes, not mentioning beautiful views from the hotel rooms and nice surroundings.

Great location near the mountains and hiking paths. The rooms do not have a fan or air conditioning so the peak summer days could get warm. Luckily the nights get cool so leave the windows open.

The pool is a tad cramped with not much seating. It's enough for the kids to enjoy after being out hiking all day. The rest of the wellness area is great with plenty of space to relax.

Overall this hotel is a great place to see the Gosau, Hallstatt and surrounding areas.

Its excellent view from the Hotel..just be cautious if you are taking service apartment as cooking is allowed without smoke otherwise there is fine of 400 euros .even chimney is not there..door of bedroom to be closed otherwise fire alarm if trigger 400 euros fine..cooking only light one can be done

Really enjoyed it !!! We had stayed there as a group of 12 people, 6 adults and 6 children, in 3 family rooms. We had booked the half-board option. Everyone really appreciated the facilities ( spa, swimming pool, wifi, room - services etc ), food was also very good with plenty of options.
The staff were really helpful and were very friendly.
Will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone...

Nice rooms with amazing view of the mountains. Gym was clean and never busy, pool is nice the right temperature that you can chill in and not get cold but do lengths and not be to hot the communal toilets are wheelchair and disability assessable, there are good facilities for the kids like table football and pool for the older ones, so perfect for families. It is a short bus journey form the nearest slope!

Tomy is incredible. Just look for cool studio apartments in Booking.com, that's it. He was very accommodating and very quick to respond with any questions. He is also flexible with check-in and check-out time, which was extremely helpful. The place was very clean and had all of the necessities for a few night stay.
He helped us out of the way which was exceptional and no words to say Thank you.
The neighborhood outside the apartment had a lot of life within walking distances. It was very quiet when you were in the loft. The apartment was walking distance to many tourist attractions, Hallstatt, Gosausee is few minutes away. This is definitely the perfect place to stay in Gosau/ Hallstatt.

It's my family home from home. It's a family style hotel. Restaurant at the front and bar. Ground floor has a pool and saunas plus heated resting area.
Most room are self catering with their own kitchen area. There is also a kreche on the ground floor for the younger children for when parents want to go out on their own. There is also a pool table. Very friendly staff. About 5/10 min drive to the slopes of Gosau. Just down the road is the Adeg supermarket. Plenty of walking routes. There is also horse drawn sledges that come round and take people for a tour of goasu in good weather.

A very nice family hotel. Great room for 2 adults and two kids. A big play ground and other activities in the hotel. The view is great with hotel right next to the mountains.
