It is located in a beautiful small town that has made an effort to provide guests with a wonderful Advent. The restaurant is decorated in a typical style for that region. Authenticity is part of the charm.
St. Gilgen offers a lot - it depends on your possibilities.
The staff is friendly (they check if you are satisfied, if you need anything) and the cleanliness is unquestionable. We were sorry that we had to leave (we were limited by the time of our stay) so we didn't get to try the cakes. Although their portions are so big that I don't even know where else with cakes.

We were looking for a restaurant in Sankt Gilgen on a Monday of August and found this place. The restaurant from the hotel in front were very rude and did not want to attend us but luckily there was a table here.
The service was very friendly all the time, spoke english and the food was also good!
There was not a big choice of dishes but everything we ordered was nice.
Terrace was in the shade and was good.

Food is cooked fresh so it takes a bit longer. Excellent food. Added a side salad even though not on the menu. Got very busy as a lot of people showed up.

Absolutely wonderful gem in St Gilgen. Group had the pumpkin soup, weiner schnitzel, and brunetti pfanne which were all wonderful. Great, friendly service at a very good price. Loved this place!

We ordered a fish option and 2 children menus: fish and chips and spaghetti bolognese.
Children menus were huge and the fish was superb.

We had a lovely dinner here. The staff was really helpful and patient in giving us some recommendations. The food and service were also great. They have more options compared to some other restaurants in the area. Good location, close to the lake.

Lively terrace allowing dinner with vantage on the bustling Sankt-Gilgen square, allowing for great people watching while waiting for food. Delicious and great ambiance!

We stopped here for lunch. We were told we'd have to wait 45 minutes for food which was ok with us and our lunches were delivered right on time. I had a very good burger and my wife enjoyed her meal.

Very good food, nice stuff. Though, not the fastest service but gets forgivable pretty quickly after you've eaten :)

I love their burgers and pommes! I tried the kids’ fish sticks and they were tasty too. Such nice people there. And now the goats are there to entertain in the Biergarten!
