Nationalparkcamping Kals

This is a very good campsite for hikers. The views are incredible, the showers and toilets are spotless and there is a handy shop on-sight and a communal fridge freezer. The camping grounds can get quite packed but we still felt like we had privacy. The nearby trails are really good as well!

Perfect location in the middle of a hikers dream. Dont miss the valley to east of the camp (car, toll road 6-12 euro). Missed a kitchen on the campsite but everything else good. Friendly and calm. Payment in cash

Very spacious places, and the cleanliness is top notch. The bathrooms and showers are extremely clean. The showers are free of charge and have a good supply of warm water. There are a lot of hikes available nearby with stunning views. We are sure to visit this camping again.

Very good campsite at an amazing location with a great view of the mountains. Showers & toilets are free, warm and kept very clean. It's possible to order bread on the campsite. Lots of beautiful walks in the area too. We really enjoyed our stay with the friendly owners!

We stayed for two weeks at Kals in the end of July till the beginning of august. It’s an amazing campsite and a very good locations for a lot of hikes (and great views on the mountains)! The facilities are super clean and user friendly (warm and free). In addition, the owners are very kind and helpful. The camping is quite and dog friendly. It’s a place we really would love to come back to!

Arrival in september. Very friendly and helpful owners. The camping was not full so we could find our own place. A very large and quiet site! Amazing views, beautiful walks in the area, very clean and modern toilets and showers. The river nearby is very pretty. No onsite restaurant, but there are a few within walking distance (or at least less then an hour away).
All in all an excellent camping 👌🏻 recommended for nature lovers.

A three star camping with a five star rating? How can this be?
Well, the facilities are excellent and clean, the staff is helpful and friendly.
The location is perfect, you can start interesting and if you like challenging hikes right from the camping ground.
Oh and yes you come here for hiking or skiing in winter, not much else to do here.
Last but not least the camping guest are nice people with similar interests, friendly and respect the campground. So it's clean and quiet, no drunken and loud midnight activities.
If you appreciate all this, you will have a great time here, if the weather helps a bit too.

Spend a total of 2 nights at this camping. Every morning you can get fresh bread with a good cup of coffee. Prices are fair and certainly not expensive. Toilets are very clean and modern.

We spend a few nights there and were satisfied with their services. The camp is very well organised, staff is super friendly, showers are free and they sell fresh pastry every morning.

Very beautiful camping place. View is wonderful, the staff is friendly and this is the place with the cleanest toilets and showers i ve ever seen. One night per person is approx. 13 euro. You also have a kitchen and storage room

Amazing! The campsite is great, good facilities and very clean. There are no mosquitoes this high up which is great. The people are very nice and willing to help you. I would definitely recommend

Good place for camping trekking and revreatin. Take your drinks and food with you. A bit cold. Keep in mind for tents

Nice camp to stay with small shop inside and clean fascilities. Warm water all the time.. Great for overnight sleep before Grossglockner ascent.
