Hogarth Falls Carpark

When visiting Strahan this is a necessary little walk. Easy and beautiful with the reward of a scenic waterfall at the end. Well worth it to stretch your legs before driving home. Allow an hour, or better still plan to have lunch in the BBQ area. Plenty of parking and free electric BBQs.

A very nice short walk to the falls on a superbly maintained path allows you to see a platypus if there are not too many people around. Park at the People's Park to start your walk along the creek and come back to the day use area for a picnic. If you choose to take this walk just before sunset you might be in luck to see a platypus foraging in the water.

lovely place to visit on a hot day, the rainforest canopy provides respite from the sun and makes for a lovely walk upto the falls. the walk to the falls I would call easy but there are a few steep steps down to the falls itself. the GPS seems to mislead on directions. the entry is via People's Park. plenty of onsite parking.

Hogarth Falls is a great and mostly easy walk along the crystal clear creek.. The hardest part is the short hill climb and the stairs at the falls end of track. Although others saw a platypus we missed out on that unfortunately. Maybe next time.
Be careful on the slippery boadwalks and stick to the artificial turf down the middle. It would be safer if these where lined with chicken wire.

Nice walk, cool Falls, interesting creek.

An easy flat walk by the creek and beautiful ferns. Last bit was steep steps but got a good view of falls without walking down.
