Regatta Point Tavern & Holiday Villas

We found this to be one of the only affordable eats out in Strahan. The atmosphere is that of you typical small town club, and the service was amazing. The staff were kind and worked really well to assist with dietary requirements. Food was delicious, particularly the ocean trout. Would definitely revisit.

Very happy with the cabin and facilities. We couldn't be more comfortable. Just a reminder that there is no wifi. Free wifi at tourist information. All very clean and neat here and the tavern next door is fine. Great view across the bay, as in the ohoto.

Great old fashioned pub. Good for a no nonsense meal at night and a reasonable price. It has some pokies roo if that's what you are after.

This tavern is a real hidden gem! Very friendly staff and atmosphere, the evening meals are outstanding. Best value meals in Tassie!! Don't miss visiting it.

Absolutely lovely food, I had steak, 2 eggs with chips, beautifully cooked👍 my partner had Turkey, veg & gravy, both really enjoyed the food, a game of 8 ball, friendly quick service, lovely night, well done, we're from Launceston

Great establishment. Typical country pub meals. Yum. Great value. Fabulous service. Told them we were celebrating a birthday and lol and behold a pavlova turns up at the end of the meal. Vicki was a pure delight. Highly recommend.

Great view of the Gordon River from every seat in the Regatta Point Tavern. The staff were friendly and very attentive to everyone.
Seafood linguine was fresh and packed with seafood. You also can't go wrong with a chicken schnitzel with chips and vegetables.
Good pub grub.

Staff were extremely welcoming and the steak was one of the best I’ve ever had along with the mushroom sauce being immaculate. The wait wasn’t long as it was packed and this is the definition of a great old school pub.

We were greeted at the door by a lovely lady who showed us which tables were available.
All the staff were very friendly, our food was absolutely delicious and the prices were hard to beat
We were very impressed and will definitely be back when we visit Strahan again

For a great meal in strahan you cannot go past this business. Exceptional views of the harbour and the meal was great

BIG shout out to the Regatta Point Tavern Bistro. They went above and beyond for us and many others that were left without food after all other venues in Strahan had closed or were booked out. They continued to cook meals well after closing time just so we could get a meal. And a beautiful meal too. Massive thank you to the owners and all the staff. That is how you look after tourists.❤

A friend had roast lamb, I had the bluck Angus scotch fillet, and the wife had rissoles. My steak was cooked to perfection, and everyone was really impressed with the quality of the food. Really nice friendly people there too.

Best and friendliest place in town! Honarable mention also to coffee shack but that's a different review! Came here as part of our holiday tour around Tasmania. If you are ever in town go and visit Vicki and she will for sure look after you! Great views out to Regatta Point. Good pub grub, great portions and good prices! Service finally with a smile! We will be back!

A bit of a wait, but, food was great, which they said due to staff shortage. Recommend.

This is the best priced eatery in Strahan. The other eateries are very overpriced. The servings are very generous and the food delicious. I would definitely eat there again. A special shout out to the lovely lady who took our orders. Very polite and helpful.

We had a great feed at the Regatta. Proper pub food. Staff were very friendly and meals are just like Mum used to make. Much needed after 7 days on the road!

Value for money accommodation. One of the cheapest place I stayed at in Tasmania and had more than others. The room (more like a unit) I stayed in had beds for 6 people, private kitchen, private bathroom, private toilet and private living room. The kitchen had its own big fridge, kettle, utensils, cutlery, toaster, steamer, microwave and other basics. The bathroom was clean and wasn't too outdated. Sure, the wallpaper and structure can seem outdated but still wasn't falling apart. One down side was the brick in one of the rooms. It can feel a bit cold if you're the only one sleeping in that room. But should be okay if more than 1 was in the room. Oh! They also have hangers and wardrobes. Checking out was easy too. Will definitely come again due to how much is given despite cheaper price. Oh, they also have a tv with great connection ~
