Molly's Takeaway Cafe

What a gem of a find. The standard fish and chip take away joint with a few twists to delight. Vegetarian options kept family happy. Vege burger delicious, cheesey garlic pizza perfectly cooked to juicy garlicky delight. Wedges were perfectly crispy on the outside and cooked through. My chicken burger was perfectly put together. The drinks selection was truly impressive. The staff are friendly and efficient. Recommend a visit.

We first grabbed some coffees and toasties for breakfast.
When we walked in it was like a mini supermarket with pretty much everything you need.
Located next to 2 of Strahan’s caravan parks and a bottle-shop next door it is a perfect spot.
The biggest giveaway are the amount of locals that stop in.
It was all good.
So we then went back for some hamburgers for dinner.

It was all fantastic.
Highly recommend stopping in.

Great Friday night special of Large pizza, Garlic bread and 1.25L soft drink for $25. All delicious, great value.

Delicious seafood. We shared a couple of seafood baskets (plenty for 5 people). Could really taste the seafood. Such a cute busy store. Staff were friendly and efficient and knew what they were doing.

Stopped in for tea and got some pizzas that were delicious. The shop has the necessities that you need if you get stuck and nothing else is open. The staff were friendly and will help you if you require something different if they can help you if your require something thats not there if they can.

Molly's takeaway is one of the few dining options in Strahan open in winter. Luckily, prices are very reasonable and staff are lovely.
Grill / pizza options close off at 6.30pm but they went above and beyond to help us with grabbing a couple of dinner options. The vego burger was surprisingly good and pizza leftover in the bain marie delicious. Highly recommend the wedges as well.
They have a number of grocery options and freezer meals available which is very handy.

Haven't had a pizza as good as this since being a radar technician trainee at Laverton 50 years ago.
As soon as we opened the box it was like the pizza shop in Sunshine outside Melbourne...

Great pizza and all the other home cooked meals smelled and looked well worth a try

Absolutely amazing service, great place to have breakfast. You can also pick some groceries or anything else like cold drinks, chips, milk and packed food.

Super friendly staff. Great food with a small dine in area or easy take-away. A great stop for us along our travels.

The gentleman serving me was very pleasant and the portion of chips was huge. Can’t wait to go back

This place was great! Now, the food wasn't the greatest thing I have had, but it was food. Everywhere was either closed or booked out, so there was nowhere for us to eat. Thank God molly's was open for us to have something. Honestly, if Molly stepped up the food game and had some meals out for people to have late at night, they might have a winner on their hands.

Ordered burgers, which were good and the service was friendly.

ate dinner here after first trying the local pub (booked out). Chips and gravy were delicious, as were both burgers (chicken; beef) w the lot. Tasty and no frills, great value.

I just had a Supreme pizza $24, there is enough for 3 people.

Café with 3 inside table's & several outside picnic tables, lots of hot food server to order, polite & helpful lady served us. They also have a small shop selling essential foods.

We were here a few weeks back on the long weekend.
There was a pizza special and it was the best value meal we had on our lap of Tassie.
There were 2 girls working and it was flat out!! All tables in and outside were full and lots of other people hovering waiting for takeaways. I was so impressed with how these girls handled the busy situation!

Dinner choices can get a little challenging in Strahan on some weeknights. Thankfully found Molly's open & ordered some burgers. Really fresh & hearty for a decent price. Would go back without hesitation. Cheers.
