As other comments say hidden gem, I totally agree with this! Service was perfect! Food was spectacular. To add to this, complimentary manchow veggie soup was offered. Pricing is beyond reasonable. Ultimate bang for the buck when it comes to Indian and Hakka food in Durham region!

Some of the best chicken masala I've ever had, aling with the fresh butter naan. Flavourful and tender. Their mango salad is a must try. Lovely, cozy atmosphere with pleasant music and classy decor. The staff are attentive without crowding you, and the prices can't be beat. Come for their $16 lunch buffet

What an experience! The staff Suraj was a great host and this led to an amazing experience!
Tried the hakka noodles, malai kofta, paneer starters . The food was amazing and I would say the panner starter is one reason for me to visit again!

This is an amazing restaurant with very delicious food, great customer service, and a very enjoyable atmosphere!

Their food is very flavourful and does taste like authentic Indian food. Not a lot of Indian restaurants in Canada remind you of Indian restaurants so well!

They have a variety of options on their menu including North Indian and Hakka Chinese along with momos. We have tried a lot of different vegetarian options and have enjoyed everything. Never had a disappointing experience at this restaurant.

A special mention to their staff who is always smiling, helpful, and courteous. The owner must be nice as well to maintain such a lovely ambience for the staff and the guests as well. Definitely recommend if you want to experience authentic Indian cuisine.

We were too hungry to click pictures. I tried their veg options - Tandoori momos and Chinese Bhel. We loved it! Chinese bhel was super delicious. I also tried their Chicken Schezwan Fried Rice and Chilli Chicken. They were good too. Can’t wait to try more! I will try to click it next time and upload them.

In all a wonderful place for Indian food in Whitby. Loved all starters. It was delicious and well presented. Didn’t like lamb Rogan Josh.

One of the best gravy Manchurian (vegi balls). Got good quantities of gravy and the balls for crunchie as well, loved that. The paneer chilli was also good paneer was crunchy and vegetables for fresh and had a great seasoning.

We had an awesome experience dining at this restaurant.
Starting from reception to seating it was very welcoming and organized. Since we did the reservation, our table was ready and service was very prompt.
Our server was good and made sure that we were comfortable and he was very prompt to ensure he is there when we need something.

The food was fresh, tasty and with right quantity of spices as we aren’t comfortable with spices.
We ordered Malai Chicken Kebab, Gobhi Manchurian, Panner Masala, Dal Makhni, Butter and Garlic Naan.
Everything was delicious and good. Our server asked us to try complimentary Veg Munchow Soup which was good but little spicy which is okay since it was offered by them.
Another thing to note is every dish has good quantity, therefore you get good value for money

Parking may be challenge on the weekdays but since we went on weekend and before the rush hours, we could find easily.

I would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone who want try authentic Indian cuisine.

Best food i have had in Canada. Also the customer service was very good and the server, Suraj was very friendly and welcoming.

Food and service were great! We ordered the Tandoori sampler, onion bhajia, Tandoori cauliflower and Chicken Tika Masala. Other than the bhajia, they all tasted amazing! The Tandoori sampler came with a variety of different Tikas- chicken tika, malahi tika, salmon tika and paneer tika. All of them were well flavoured and tender. The garlic naan was great as well. Would highly recommend this place!

Standard quality food . Tried Pudina paratha and Daal Makhni again at this location in addition to momos Chinese bhel and Monchow soup ( my fav is pudina paratha and daal makhni at this location …. Best customer service and a very polite server he multitask and take care of each table . Good service keep it up . Thanks

Great experience!! We organized birthday party for my 2 year old and ordered full catering service from this place which includes appetizers, main course and dessert. This became a super hit ..everyone in party was asking where did we do the catering from. Not only the food but the overall experience with the restaurant staff and the owner was beyond excellence!!

Food was really amazing by presentation and its taste wise. I enjoyed it. Hospitality was good including kitchen staff.
Will be back soon.

I recently had the pleasure of trying the chow mein at Balti Indian Resturant, and I must say, it was one of the best I've ever had. The flavors were incredibly well-balanced, and the noodles had the perfect texture - not too soft, not too crunchy. The combination of vegetables, chicken and protein was delightful, and the sauce was simply outstanding. I can't wait to go back for more!

This place is amazing. Some great pros - this place is open late, food is delicious and service was outstanding. I personally think that they can maybe do a little better with decor. But overall amazing experience. Will def come back and recommend friends to go try this place.

Very nice! I just had a chicken noodle, a mild option and it’s so good. The restaurant is nice and clean. The staff are friendly as well. The owner and chef Gopal is a professional, knowing how to treat people.

I was impressed with the food, it was very tasty similar to Wang’s kitchen.

We tried chicken fried rice , chicken Hakka noodles, Manchurian chicken dry, tandoori momos, chilli chicken dry.

Everything was excellent, momos was bit spicy. Taste and quantity was pretty good. Glad found this place nearby!!

This restaurant is great! Do yourself a favour and visit this lovely restaurant. The service is unmatched. Staffs are very friendly and they know what they are doing and what they are talking about. The food is absolutely amazing as everything we tested melted in other mouths. Absolutely best meal we had a while in Greater Toronto Area. Don’t forget to try Hakka Chowmein & Mo:Mo:
