Hair:
I'm really glad that I have finally taken a moment to write a review for Chaloos. I came in for a simple cut and blowdry and I left feeling fantastic. The cut was exactly as I wanted it and the style wasn't just some flat ironed hair (which is obviously easier for the stylist to do), but my hair had actually body and style. I loved it. As crazy as it sounds, ones hair is super important to their overall appearance and how you feel when you leave the salon. And I can say, this place will make you feel beautiful.
Oh, and the shampoo was a mini scalp massage which is so pampering and pleasant!

Eyebrows:
I'm not the most easy going when it comes to having my eyebrows done. I have full eyebrows and salons so often ruin them. So when I go to Chaloos I only get Nasrin to do it. She runs the place so she might be busy, but I cant risk it as she's the only one I know who does it consistently well. However, there was another woman, whose name escapes me, who does a phenomenal job. All in all, this salon is packed with talent. Definitely go and call up Nasrin.

I went to get my eyebrows done based on a friends referral and it was a fantastic and quick experience. The aesthetician that took care of me was very sweet and listen to my needs and then made them a reality. If you’re ever in the Vancouver area I highly recommend going out of your way to get your eyebrows threaded here. It is about a seven minute walk from the Lincoln skytrain station.

The owner Nasrin is such a nice lady and very talented. She fixed my hair for free when one of the other ladies (Naya) messed up and wasn’t even accountable for her mistake. Nasrin made my experience with this salon great in the end. Her customer service and her work is quite amazing. She made sure I walked away happy. The other rude lady, Naya, dyed my hair grey highlights on black hair when I showed her a picture of ash blond colour of my whole hair. She didn’t do what I asked for. Everyone I showed said It was ridiculous and she overcharged me more than the salon’s rate and the owner’s rate. She said “this is the worth of my work” as if she owns the place. Her work was terrible and I wouldn’t pay a penny for It or see her ever again. Her rate would only be reasonable if she actually was able to do what was in the picture not some ugly, random other hairstyle. Overall, I was very happy with Nasrin. I recommend everyone I know to see her. Her rate is very reasonable and generous given her many years of experience and her wonderful personality.

For my eyebrows I see Ella and she is truly amazing as well. She makes my eyebrows look perfect every time. In this salon I recommend everyone go see Ella for eyebrows and waxing, and see Nasrin for hair colour and cut. Other than Naya who ruined the experience the first time I went there, It was redeemed when I went back by Nasrin and her other kind staff!

I love this place it is great and affordable yes you might have to wait a bit but it’s sooo worth it because you get the right cut, the right highlights, and a great price. I have been to expensive places in downtown Vancouver and there is absolutely no difference except price. I love the owner she is great, friendly and nice she listens and she always gets my hair right. I have been going here for years and one thing I have to say the owner loves her customers and she will never turn you around unless she is super busy. She always accommodate me and my mom. And while I am sitting there for 45 min waiting for my hair colour to develop why shouldnt she help someone else with a hair cut in meantime absolutely!!! Good for her to be so organized and able to handle all of us who walk in last minute saying help I need a hair cut ASAP. Who doesn’t have those bad hair days and you know you must do something with your hair right away luckily I have my favourite salon. After all great place !!!

I have been going here for about 5 years now for threading and hair cuts. Nazrin is awesome. The service here is great and the quality of their work is amazing. I rarely have to wait even when I show up last minute without an appointment. Thank you so much for the great service. I always recommend this shop to my friends for their waxing and threading! Lianne always does a fantabulous job with my hair. She keeps her customer service skills on high, calls to check if I'm needing color, cut anything before the holidays!! So busy and still takes time to make sure your looked after !!

Nasrin and Eli are the best people I ever see, they are really professional I always go there for my hair cut and color and keratin she used perfect material with the best quality and also I go there for body waxing and it is really clean and perfect technique, I highly recommend to go there.
