I haven’t done much grocery shopping here but I do come often for their deli section. Their sandwiches are consistently delicious (especially when warmed up) and are offered at a decent price. Great spot to grab a quick an easy meal.

This Dunbar grocery store has been our primary source of quality merchandise since 1977 when we moved into the Dunbar area..Stongs is a name for quality groceries and other items that the community finds useful..We remember the yearly plant sale held in the previous store location parking lot.. it seemed like half of Vancouver held that date in mind for plants and for joining in the community spirit of shopping together... another vital service for customers is their online shopping and delivery service...One thing that the customers can always count on is quality service by the staff and very fresh meat,fish,produce and bread products... Stongs is truly a community grocery store

Of all the Grocery Stores in the lower mainland, Stong's has the best selection of quality products. Their meat department is full service, and besides beef, pork, and poultry, they also regularly stock Lamb, Bison, Duck and Ostrich. Produce is better than most. Well organized. Prices are in line with City Market or Save-on, but the place feels like a specialty market. They always have what seems like extra staff on, so you get knowledgable help when you need it.

I feel like I spend less there because the quality is so good, and they find 'local' better than the big chain stores.

A great love for customers can only be expressed in this way: quality products, variety, discounts, perfect cleanliness, friendly staff. You will find all this and more at Stong's. I do not agree with those who say that the prices here are high, because the quality cannot be cheap. In addition, constant promotions make it possible to buy the product you want at a good price. Must have visit this store and you won't change it.

Used to come here all the time when I was younger at the old location. The new location is smaller but they sure pack a lot in there. Their prepared food is great and has a ton of options. I do a fair amount of my grocery shopping here. Support Local!

Great place to buy Acropolis Organics Extra Virgin Olive Oil and make y other specialty and conventional products.

I have enjoyed shopping Stongs for over 20 plus years. Quality of meats and seafood is excellent. Service is good and cashier Anthi is very helpful.

Love shopping here! There produce is really fresh and lots of great vegan items.
The popcorn is amazing , cute little coffee shop inside .
Definitely a pricey store .
Limited parking

Upscale grocery. Not the cheapest but it has almost everything that the gourmet cook could want. Emphasis on fine Italian products and local products.
Great selection of breads, pates and cheeses.
Not the best green grocer. The Dunbar Save-on is better and the H Mart even better than that.
Nobody is perfect

New store location (relatively), nicely laid out, optimizing smaller space but not claustrophic. Lots of open tills so service is fast. Friendly service at various counters such as deli, meats, bakery, coffee bar. Prices a bit high for common items you can find elsewhere, but Stong's has other high quality items you can't find elsewhere so the premium is worth the trip. Always enjoyable shopping Stong's!

My last four visits have been great. Helpful staff with good senses of humour. Took me straight to the anchovies and capers. I am pleased with the store. It is fun to shop there. The checkout staff is generally chatty and make the experience a pleasure. The jar of mustard I bought must have been a fluke it was 15.00 for a regular hat of Dijon the price now is around $6.
A goid store with multiple brands to from which to choose. Now my go to store. This is a change to my last posting

I love the selection of food, deli salads, that they carry most of which is very reasonably priced. I’ve also been very pleased with their delivery services. They really go above and beyond if you’re not completely satisfied.

We would like to congratulate Stong’s Market for their fantastic customer service and their great selection of quality products. For our fundraiser, we were looking for high-quality items for our charcuterie baskets. Here, we found the cheese and bread we were looking for, and they were generous enough to support our fundraiser with a discount. Thank you for supporting young writers, readers and artists in our community.

Great Local Grocer
Early morning opening on Sunday what a blessing. For those of us who wake up with the sun it's wonderful to have access to a unique and well stocked grocery store. From local organics to fresh baked goods. Good deli and coffee bar too.

Wonderful selection. Not your typical grocery store. Strong meat and seafood section too
