Landmark Dental Care

This was my first visit with Dr. Thompson and his staff since my husband and I recently moved to Truro. Friendly, helpful, caring and compassionate are the words to describe Dr. Thompson and his staff. Thanks to all for making me so comfortable on my first visit.

Very positive experience. Office ladies are so friendly that you wanna chat with them all day. Very helpful as well with the benefits part, answering questions before I get a chance to ask them. Dentist and his assistant are knowledgeable and seem experienced. They both worked fast. Super friendly and professional as well. His assistant impressed me so much, never missing a beat. She explained and reassured me a few times, and kept in mind that my body sometimes needs breaks due to chronic pains. I was also impressed by how fast was the dentist was. I appreciated his attention to detail, always making sure my bite wasn’t off and everything was smooth. I had a great experience with the hygienist Molly too. She was gentle but also not afraid to dig. I had hygienists in the past that went too easy on me. Molly was gentle but got the job done. She was the perfect balance in my opinion. She took the time to educate and suggest a few things that could help protect my teeth better. She was never pushy, she only suggested, which was greatly appreciated as well. Cherry on top is the location. What a beautiful and well preserved history building, with nice big windows in front of you! I had several bad dentist experiences, so I was nervous. They all made me feel at ease and was able to joke with them. I noticed they’re all very great with kids too. Some very young little man was excited to see his dentist and didn’t even nap first. You don’t hear kids excited to see a dentist often. I highly recommend them.

I just had my first visit at Landmark, I can’t stress enough about how wonderful everyone was there. I have always had some anxiety issues when it comes to dentist visits, but everyone there made sure I was comfortable and at ease the entire time. Knowing what’s in store for my next appointment, I’m actually going to be able to feel comfortable about going in.

As a father wanting the best for my children this is the only dentist office we goto. The staff are lovely and very caring and helpful. And the dentist always goes above and beyond. Ireland and nova, says thanks guys for making there smile even brighter. Cheers.

I find Molly the best hygienist I have ever had. She is knowledgeable, professional, and very personable. Dr Thomsen is very organized, professional, accommodating, and seems to care very much about his patients and their dental health! Wendy and Trish greet you warmly and make you feel at home. Sharon and the rest of the support staff are fantastic!

Dr.Thompson and staff are always so welcoming and friendly. I have been a patient of Dr. Thompson’s for over 10 years and he is an excellent dentist, very knowledgeable and caring. I highly recommend Landmark Dental Care.

Wendy and Trish at reception are fantastic. I was in need of an appointment for a broken tooth and got right in with a cancellation. These ladies are so friendly and really know their jobs and believe me, there's so much more to it than you think! They are wizards making everything happen. Dr Thomson is always happy and friendly. He gives all the options so I'm well informed. Sharon is his lovely assistant who keeps him going so he can work his magic. They are all a great team.

I often joke with them that I wish for a little cavity once in awhile so I could see them more often haha!

I used to dread dental visits, but not anymore. The entire team (front desk staff, dental assistants, and the dentist) is kind, welcoming and efficient. I felt safe during the procedures.

Wonderful experience with this dental office! Very knowledgeable staff and one of the friendliest dental offices I've ever been to. From the receptionist, to the hygienist, to the dentist, we felt very well cared for. I took my son for his first checkup at 10 months old and the staff were so gentle with him and made the experience so easy.

All the staff at Landmark Dental is amazing. Always genuinely friendly and personal. I have a lot of anxiety around dental work and Dr. Thomson is the best dentist I've ever been to. His chairside manner is unmatched and I drive an hour out of my way for my appointments because of that.

Very friendly visit from start to finish! Asked about my wellbeing and felt they really cared. My tooth extraction was very quick and painless. Already rescheduled my next appointment for a complete exam in the new year!

The best dentist and staff I have ever dealt with. Very casual atmosphere and Dr. Thompson does great work. He was done the work almost when I thought we were just starting.

The entire staff is incredible, the friendliest people. The service is always gentle and precise. We moved and still travel to recieve the care we get at Landmark. Unmatched.
