OMG. What fun!!
Mÿ friend and I were passing through Truro and went here for karaoke. Such warm, funny, embracing people. Everyone was so friendly. Thank you, Don, Shaun and Matthew for the laughs and smiles.

Really wish I got the waitresses name but completely forgot to ask her as we were leaving. She was so pleasant and friendly , the service was wonderful and super fast!!! We came here for our anniversary lunch and it did not disappoint. Highly recommend checking them out! We are from Ontario but we will be back again next year! Thank you!

I got the beef dip and my husband got the liver and onions . Best we ever had!

I liked this place. It's a large restaurant with a pub-style menu. I ordered the burger with fries with gravy. The burger was clearly made in-house, and all of the ingredients were of good quality. My only issue was that it was over-seasoned with what I believe is Montreal steak seasoning. The fries were real hand-cut fries. The gravy was good as well. Atmosphere was typical pub feeling. Our server was a little distracted, but very nice.

The food was great, an excellent place to spend with old friends.

This place was my go to while we were living in Truro :) The staff are so friendly and the food is simply amazing !! I recommend the steak sammich :) will definitely be stopping in whenever we're back up this way!

The food was great and the Lady who served us was wonderful.

Had an excellent chessy finger pizza and our Hawaiian pizza was awesome.

Went there for my birthday dinner. This place is awesome! Very casual, outgoing and the staff is excellent. Excellent service with a smile and positive attitude. The food was served quickly and delicious!! Prices are excellent as well, if you're in Truro be sure to check out the Engine Room !

I ordered the finger basket which had deep fried pickles and I should have just ordered a basket of deep fried pickels; they were good and when mixed with their special sauce even better. great service from the server Linda!! thank you.

Pub in a truro. It was not busy as went there Monday after.
We ordered small vegi pizza, battered mushrooms, fried potatoes skin, glass of wine and beer . Server was good. Service was fast and good was excellent. We will come back.

Food was amazing, service was fantabulous and the prices were on point! Can't wait to go back the next time I'm in town! Cheers

What can I say... this is The Engine Room. Literally, there isn't much on this menu, that isn't A-1. The cooks, are great. The staff, the whole way round are so friendly and helpful. There is a still existing payphone, couple of pool tables, and a huge jukebox, when there isn't live entertainment at the front. They have a section for some VLT machines..... and it is a piece of this town. Well respected owners and staff. Most have been there a long time. So have I been a long time customer on all levels there!! Wonderful,laid back environment. Couldn't ask for more!! ❤❤

After over 30 years it's nice to know some things don't change. I hauled wheel barrows of gravel for the foundation. Staff is as friendly as you will ever find, food fantastic. It was a stop I had to make coming home, and sit with an old friend.

Excellent food, great taste and steak that melted in my mouth. Can't wait to go back again.

The Engine Room is an Awesome place to just go for a cool drink, a nice meal, or spend the evening with them playing Trivia! So friendly, generous portions, and always Smiling faces! We really enjoy The Engine Room! Thanks for being here... Gary & Janet
