I have wanted to check our Noveltea for years, even before it had burned down.
I went in a weekend away with my bestie and she brought me here.
The cafe is in a beautiful old building with gorgeous arches and windows. They have a large menu which includes coffee and tea drinks, bubble tea and light food fare. They change up their drink menu for the seasons and base them off famous books. Right now it is the polar express.
We ordered their vegan chocolate chip cookies and I got an oat milk coconut cherry latte. So good! Definitely recommend if you are in Truro.

Cute spot with playful, eclectic decor. Macchiato and lattes were good. Tasty, wholesome selection of food + desserts. The slow service was the only low point.

This is an amazing little coffee shop in the middle of Truro where there aren't many at all. They have wonderful staff lots of goodies and various types of hot and cold drinks they have some really specialties which I was quite impressed with. The only thing is you got to go there when you have a little extra time because when it gets busy you could have a wate for your order. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a spot to get out with the ladies or the guys and have a coffee and a chat you're not rushed to get out of there by any means. No problem with parking

This place has character, latte was great but I loved seeing all the artwork as well as the menu variety. Unique coffees as well. If you are in Truro looking for a coffee and a bite, go here. Lots of books and a little nook for kids to hang out in.

Love Noveltea so much! It's such a cute place with kind service and a variety of food and drinks to choose from. They've also got my favourite oatcakes!

Popular local café with a range of seating options, books for sale, and a massive menu! Great and unique vegetarian options, including samosas. A massive drink list with an Alice and Wonderland theme. Very tasty, fast service, and many happy customers.

Love the new spot! Such an interesting and inviting space. From the table tops to the lighting, to the seperate rooms and the barista station. It all comes together so nice. Large section of baked good, lunch options and hot and cold beverages. Definitely worth a stop in even to have a look, study or read a book over a nice coffee.

The BEST iced lattes I’ve ever had. My go to is a vanilla oat latte, it’s so yummy every time! Along with so many sweet treats and yummy sandwiches and samosas. The atmosphere is so cozy and warm and inviting. It’s a perfect small, hometown local business.

We stopped here for a bit of breakfast on our way to Cape Bretton. Charming place with excellent service. I had a delicious oatmilk latte and a egg wrap. They have a nice selection of art as well.

I usually never order matcha latte because there is a 80% chance to get disappointed. But after looking at the reviews, glad i had iced matcha latte, it was very good. Banana bread was good, as well but could have been more moist and more flavourful.
Only issue: 1 person taking the orders and making the drinks (kudos to her).. if you are unlucky to arrive when there are 6-7 people in front of you, brace yourself for 15-20 min wait.

Go watch the spectacular tidal bore then have a delicious baked good and yummy cafe latte at NovelTea. Like cheesecake? There were three different kinds. July husband enjoyed a pesto tomatoe flat bread and I had a Buddha bowl (nourish bowl). Lovely patio to sit, relax or watch people go by. Local artists and many books create a delightful ambience.

Love the atmosphere, the coffee and food. A wonderful little place to relax for a while. Great selection of books for sale, not to mention other fantastic finds, like pottery, notebooks, ink for pens and t-shirts. So much to look at but still maintains a very chill and relaxed feel.

If you are like me and plant-based, gluten-free, caffeine sensitive, and/or don't like hot drinks, fear not - there is something here for you!

Today was my first time here and I am happy to report that there was a wheat-free and vegan option. I am so grateful because these options are hard to find, especially in Truro. It had a cauliflower pakora with mango chutney and it was delicious. I also ordered a lemonade smoothie with no yogurt which was sweet, tart, and very yummy.

The merchandise that is sold there is book-themed and reasonably priced. There are also local artists featured throughout such as Tidal Turnings (a local wood turner who makes fancy pens and other things by hand) and the staff were helpful.

I will be back and with a whole crew next time because I need to show this place off!

This was a neat cafe. As someone who can't eat eggs, they had plenty of options for me (which is rare). Will definitely go again.

Very cozy cafe, delicious food and a play area for kids. Awesome for gatherings and 10/10 bubble teas. A lot of seating. The only issue is the high prices. 9/10
