Sandaraska Park

This Place was great everyone was super Friendly and the sites have a great layout and lots of planned activities!! The trails in the Ganaraska were amazing!! Only 2 things would make this place better new Picnic Tables !! And a ramp for 4 wheelers !!

Camped with our horses for the first time at Sandaraska Park and it was absolutely amazing! Friendly staff, great atmosphere, and perhaps the cleanest and well-maintained campground I’ve ever been to.

Highly recommend Sandaraska Park.

Visited friends at their seasonal campsite. We'll kept park with heated pool, community hall, social committee, access to trails in the forest for atv's and horses and some sites with horse paddocks.

We went to Sandaraska park so we could go off-roading in our Jeep in Ganaraska Forest. We set up our tent in spot 67 which was right at the central hub right across from the washrooms, pool & playgrounds. The staff and seasonal campers were very friendly and helpful but also provided us with privacy. We will definitely be back again!

What a beautiful weekend. The park is very well maintained and peaceful. The staff are all friendly. The weekend spots are a great size. Will definitely be booking again. Thank you, did not want to leave.

Amazing camping experience! We were up over the August Long Weekend with our horses and were pleasantly surprised with how beautiful and well kept the campgrounds were. Extremely clean, friendly, great setup for the horses, and wonderful trails and riding arena. We loved the activities offered as well! Having the opportunity to camp with my horse was definitely the highlight of my summer, thank you for making this happen. Will definitely be back soon!

My brother and I bought dual sport bikes and today was our first outing...Awesome trails!

Just spent a weekend here, our first time at this park. Washrooms were super clean. Park was very clean and well maintained. Many seasonal campers and everyone was very friendly. Very quiet after 11 pm. Family friendly and dog friendly. Impressed with this park.

This is our second year at Sandaraska and we love it! The park is clean and well kept, the community is amazing and overall just a fantastic place to relax and have fun.

What an awesome place!
Very clean, quiet, well maintained, reasonable rates, trailhead access from the resort.
We will stay there again for sure!
Free clean showers, spotless bathrooms, and the store is well stocked and they aren't gouging or nickel and diming like most other private campgrounds.
Perfect for young families as well.

Great place to enjoy nature . Trails are awesome we had horses as well as atv's . Everyone had a great time. Shelters are large and lots are larger. Will definitely go again.

I LOVE this place! Greatest campground ever for people who enjoy horseback riding and camping. We have been going here for the past 3-4 years and each time we go we enjoy riding in the Gandaraska forest even more. This campsite is run very well, a locally owned family who you can tell work at this place all the time ( there is always new improvements being made etc.) I just can't say enough about this place. 12*12 horse pens, flush toilets, clean comfort station a 5 minute walk away from the horse camping grounds. The pens are safe and secure with sand footing. trails are awesome. We share the trails in the Ganaraska forest with Motorcyclists but I have never had a bad experience with one. Very courteous and they follow the rules etc. Would recommend this place to someone in a heartbeat!

I have been a camper at Sandaraska Park for 20 years I have been through old owners and new owners. Since the new owners took over the Park they have made so many positive improvements and the place is wonderful. Doug and Kim and their staff are friendly and very helpful when you need anything. We absolutely love camping at Sandaraska Park and will continue to for many years to come. I also wanted to respond to the person above, who obviously is a camper that is not allowed back in the Park any longer, because anyone who is still camping at the park would be a happy positive person as they would be enjoying the park and it's many hours of riding trails. I personally know the people they are talking about above and what they are saying is laughable, I'm glad this person will no longer be at Sandaraska Park as we only want positive people who are there to have fun and enjoy the horse back riding and I am not hiding behind an alias, I am Denise Carley and a very happy Camper from Sandaraska Park

Well what can you say, if you like a Well maintained campground with lots to do, Dirt Bike/Atv or riding your horse, plus the seasonal rates are on the better side of affordable relative to other Campgrounds around.

I come with my boyfriend to stay at his parents lot here sometimes. It's such a beautiful, peaceful place. There are often horses around which are a delight to see and admire :)

Have been in this park about 14 seasons . We've seen amazing changes since Kim and Doug took it over . We would highly recommend this park to anybody looking for a great place to come and enjoy , be it a night , weekend, week or longer . A great big thank you to Kim , Doug and all the Sandaraska Park staff for making this place as enjoyable as it is . See all in May .
