Orono Country Cafe

A small shop suitable for stopping by if you are on your way from Toronto to Ottawa. The restaurant is clean, has plenty of seating and has enough natural light. The food is quite good, but the cafe only has one option: drip. The owner and the customers there are all very friendly. Home Fried is very delicious.

So good and would highly recommend. They have the best homemade food and their service is phenomenal. It’s a family atmosphere and my daughter loves their salads, hotdogs and fries. Their fries are her favourite fries she has ever had and she will always go back to them❤❤. Our family goes at least 2-3 times a week and loves the owners who are simply wonderful. Their soups are delicious as well.

WOW! Great food. Nice size portions! A waitress that was more than friendly! Coffee that was "just right"! Prices that were more than reasonable. If you're in Orono and you're not eating at the Orono Country Cafe, then you're paying too much!

Adorable cafe- perfect for breakfast or lunch. The owners are friendly and hospitable. The food was yummy. Our little one enjoyed his portion of the kids meal. Arrows are well marked to keep people moving in one direction. Only complaint would be that the washrooms were dirty. But I would certainly go back ❤

We visited on a Sunday at about 1:25pm I was worried because the restaurant closed at 2pm but the staff was very friendly, and I appreciated it. The food was delicious, and we loved the local, retro vibe here!

I always love coming to the Orono Country Cafe! The owner Amin is very friendly and talkative, and the waitresses are always helpful. The food is delicious and served in great portion sizes. The prices can't be beat in my book! Feels like a home away from home.

This place in amazing. Everything was perfect if you're just passing through like us stop here. Great flavor the coffee was way better then Tim Hortons this place needs full five stars.

This family restaurant is run by the best of people. Arguably the most awesome "Amin Burger" in the world. I dare you to finish one. Thanks Fatin and Amin.
New update: I've never eaten a better peameal on a bun. You gotta order one...or several. Sooo yummy 😋

This was one of the single best brunches I have ever had — not just in the Clarington area, but literally ever! The Staff are a 10/10, the Food was a 10/10, and every aspect of our meal was sensational. The portions are huge and you just feel better for having visited this local gem!
