On March 19th we went to the Vancouver Lee Valley store to get some of their great folding tomato cages, as they were one of the only stores having any available stock of that product. We were helped by a lady named Cathy. Not only did she have control and awareness of another customer in the store's situation, but she was efficient, friendly and a total sweetheart in completing our transaction. In other words...she is the perfect employee and Lee Valley should be very happy to have her on their team. Thanks Cathy! Great job! Hopefully, your 10 year pin arrives soon.

I wanted to put wood veneer over some ugly cabinets in my living room and with the amazing help of Barry, it was so easy! He spent around an hour explaining exactly how to do it and finding exactly what I needed. Incredible service and expertise. Thank you!

**NOTE: Lee Valley is not closed even though there's a huge construction zone beside it! I almost thought it was given my GPS said I'm there. You have to go on Sherbrooke St. **

My new go-to place for hardware and products, even if it's a bit far from where I live. Rick was a gem of a person. He did his best to help with what I wanted to fix with the knowledge he had. He was very accommodating, we had good conversations, and he was very respectful and approachable. This is something that other big stores wouldn't have. There were some products not in stock but he also found alternatives, as it seemed like the product wouldn't be the right fit for what I needed.

The store itself was very clean and organized. Even my family member was a surprised how organized it was.

Went to Lee Valley for the first time and had an excellent experience. The staff were super helpful and friendly, even when i called the next day to order two more of the same thing, they were so helpful! Bonus: the store is dog friendly :)

I grew up with my parents buying things from Lee Valley mail order but never knew they had physical stores until I was in Vancouver this week. I LOVE this store. Despite it's sort of sad, uninviting exterior it's a wonderful treasure trove inside. I don't even know how to describe what type of store it is but if I had to try I'd say it's like a combination of a fancy hardware store, mixed with things for hobbyists and crafters and homemakers.
I was able to buy dutch cording here...pretty random. And I feel like if I buy something from them I know it's going to be good quality.

Pricey hardware store, but you get high quality. Plus, you'll find items here that you won't find anywhere else, like the micro machinist's clamps and Asian woodworking tools. They also carry unique household items, which my spouse likes, sourced from around the world.

Neat store with something for everyone, however, for the keen wood working hobbyist, Lee Valley is a must. The staff are knowledgeable about all the products being sold and are super helpful and friendly. I think they have one of the best 'wait-for-your-number' ticket dispensers I've seen

The rare earth magnet hooks these guys sell have been a game changer for me. I always end up with some wacky thing. 😝

Went here to grab a some super-strong neodymium magnets to fix a wallet my friend gave me (it looks like a hard-cased, plastic card holder with a plastic clasp to keep the wallet closed. The clasp broke so the wallet wouldn't close properly—I thought magnets would mend it nicely).

Anyhow, I went in the store and asked a staff (forgot to see his nametag!) by the counter for some rare-earth magnets. Showed him my broken wallet and explained him how magnets might fix it. And to my surprise: he reached his pocket only to show me that he had the exact same wallet as mine! He told me some tips and recommendations to keep the wallet age and was being super knowledgable about it! Super friendly, nice, chill, and knowledgable!

Beside the awesome staffs: they offer free coffee beside the counter!

I have to say that Lee Valley has some of the best costumer service I've seen in a long time. I was dealing with the Vancouver store and the went above and beyond to help me out. I will always be a dedicated customer. Hats of to you and especially Brian for being a true inspiration to customer service. Keep up the good work.

Excellent customer service. Vendors knowledgeable about woodworking and enthusiastic about helping and providing advices. The choice of tools is just amazing. All this has a price, of course; they are not on the cheap side. A real candy shop for hobbyists where you can easily fall into spending more than your budget.

So many cool things to get for backyard gardening.

This is, hands down, my favourite online place to shop for gardening/kitchen tools and gadgets. I am rarely disappointed by their carefully curated selection. Now that I am mostly shopping online, I really appreciate the free shipping and their staff recommendations. I also love, LOVE, their catalog (literally the only promotional mail that I am willing to receive). Highly recommend.

If you have a love for wood....this is your dream store...this is the Holy Grail store of the woodworker. Everything you need to make your project into a masterpiece....chisels, planers, saws, drill bits, drills, squares, plumbs, mitres, and much much more....I love their hardware selection.... If they don't sell it here you probably don't need it.
