J. Morrison Roofing

Had Jay shingle my roof 9 years ago - job was very well done. Based on that experience, we hired Jay to replace the rain gutters and downspouts on Oct. 29-30. Again, very professional and completed to our satisfaction. I would not hesitate to recommend J Morrison roofing to anyone.

Very satisfied with J. Morrison roofing. Very polite and professional crew that did excellent work. Of note, they were very good at protecting the plants and gardens surrounding our home while taking down the old roof. All of the materials and shingles used appear to be of a very high quality. Cost was very competitive with other roofing companies. Worth the slightly higher cost to go with a reputable company that will do quality work you can depend on.

Jay was responsive and professional from the moment we reached out to him to help us with our leaking skylight. He provided a thorough assessment of our roof. As a result , he advised us on the condition of our flat roof and the risk of leaving it without proper protection. We feel so relieved that the job was done right! Jay and his crew did an amazing job! My roof was not in good shape. They completely redid the roof, re-leveling, re-sheeting, gutters & downspouts. I am a strong believer in you get what you pay for. I would HIGHLY recommend! Crew was very friendly, professional and conscientious.

I recently had J Morrison Roofing install the euroshield slate, in brown, on my home. I had done a lot of research on the euroshield roofing product before getting 4 estimates. I had each roofing company quote an asphalt shingled roof and a euroshield roof. Jason explained both roofing systems in depth and with detailed quotes.
I chose the euroshield lifetime warranty rubber roof and am happy I did. With the high winds in my area I know that the locking feature of the euroshield will keep the shingles on my roof.
The crew was friendly, hard working and professional. They did a great job.
I couldn’t be more pleased with the company.

J Morrison roofing did a great job on my repairing my roof, very professional and completed in a timely manner, very satisfied with the work

I watched him do a roof on a cottage once on a hot day, All in all the response to the finished roof was that it was the best one that the cottage had ever had, as it was it's 3rd roof. It was a good time had by all.

Never did find out what the "J" stood for...

Poor correspondence

We had a friendly consultation with the agreement that we would get a quote within the next 10 days. After two weeks with no word, we emailed but did not receive a reply. We passed it off as 'just being a busy time of the year'.

However, the following week we called and left a message. Again, no response. We called twice more the week after that and still had no response! It has now been 5 weeks since our consultation and we have not heard ANYTHING.

We were extremely disappointed in how unprofessionally J.Morrison Roofing has handled our correspondence. The courtesy of a reply (even to let us know that they are not interested in working on our roof) would have been appreciated.

We encourage you to also seek other roofing options that are more reliable.

Each time I was emailed back excuses. Not professional. Until I confronted the company on their ignorance- I was ignored. I received a very lazy unprofessional email response in return. Nice brief story on Mr. Morrison; Major egoist who acts defensive.. Money will not save you from yourself! Nice contrast. You're welcome and peace ;-) There are 100's of roofing places across Ontario my friends! Have fun!

Misleading and dishonest.

I had him come to repair my roof after the wind storm as he was working around the corner from my house at another home in my subdivision . He told me he had a minimum charge of $250 (which I found reasonable) and he expected it to be less than $400 for the full repair(I asked if that meant shingled and he said yes). What he apparently meant was that he was going to charge a fee of $250 to walk from my neighbours to my house, charge $100 for 20 minutes work, $30 for paper, and do nothing more than move things around on my roof and bill me without doing anything. Now he's wanting to charge me more to actually fix it, and he's saying it will be weeks before he can, and he said that he was going to fix it within a few days.

JMR was able to scam alot of people in my subdivision and I thought that they had a good reputation, but he is taking advantage of the damage from the storm. Find someone honoust and avoid JMR.
