Traditional Taste Bakery & Cafe

Great experience at this bakery that I took a chance going into for the first time recently as it’s directly across from winners.
Kathleen was approachable and helpful when ordering a last minute custom birthday cake. The cake looked exactly like the picture and tasted just as good. Received many compliments on both the look and freshness of the cake. It was also ready on time which is a plus.

Dropped in this local establishment one morning to pick up treats to share at work for my birthday. I needed a variety of items amounting to 100 pieces. The staff was friendly and more than happy to accommodate my unexpected request. The treats were absolutely delicious and received RAVE reviews from all of our staff. "You brought the good stuff", and "Those were amazing, can you have more birthdays?". From the cannoli to the butter tart, everything was fantastic. I especially loved the Eclair that had a croissant dough to wrap the interior. Not sure what it's called, but absolutely incredible. I will definitely visit these folks again.

I came in late this evening to get a cake for my son’s birthday. I chose the Nutella cake and grabbed 2 Portuguese sweet buns. The cake was dry and stale, too sweet and just not good at all. Complete waste!! However the Portuguese bread was excellent. So it’s a toss up if I’ll go back.. but I probably will just for the bread!!

I am super impressed with the sincerity and fantastic customer support from this bakery. Kathleen reached out to me, and did indeed make it better. The replacement cake was fantastic, one of the best we ever had. I will be a repeat customer! Delish!

I've been a customer of Traditional Taste from their early days. Products are consistently fresh and delicious. My daughter recently developed celiac disease and to my delight, they carry a huge assortment of fresh and frozen gluten-free goods too.
I've never been disappointed with my purchases or customer service.

We have used Traditional bakery for my daughter's 18th birthday, her wedding shower, and now for my daughter's baby shower. I find that their cakes are super fresh and probably the best cakes I've had. Kathleen is fantastic to deal with and very friendly. We've known that bakery from when they were in Brampton and we are glad to find them in Georgetown. Please visit this bakery because you will not be sorry that you did.

AMAZING!!!!! BEST PORTUGUESE BAKERY IN ONTARIO!!!!! Came by for lunch as we were working in the area, the staff were very outgoing and happy.......the deserts were impeccable, and delicious!!!!!! I will drive here from Ajax from now on just to have the tarts, lemon roll......and the cinnamon doughnuts...omg............. thank you to the owners and staff for everything. 😊😊😊😊

I visited there with my friend; it was the first time for both of us. We didn't know what to order, so we asked one of the staff members. She suggested that we try custard tarts. We both loved them, and now whenever we visit there, we always eat custard tarts. She told us that her name is Harshita, and she is from India. I like how she greeted us. The way she always treats us is so nice and she is so humble and sweet.

The service at the bakery was exceptional. The server was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They made sure our orders were promptly taken and delivered with a smile. Overall, a delightful experience thanks to the Harshita excellent Service Given By Her

I have been coming to Traditional bakery for years, best bakery in town. Food is fresh staff are friendly. Fran is always on top of it, she definitely knows how to make you feel welcome. Thank you for continuing to offer great service in our town.

Nice spot to meet a friend for coffee, tea and a treat. Delicious black forest cake and shrimp patties. So much selection & excellent service!!

I picked up some of their mini cheesecakes with strawberries. My new favorite dessert! Fran was so helpful and answered all my questions! Will for sure be back soon!

I love Traditional Taste! not only do they have fantastic baked goods (Portugese Tarts, yes please!) themed cookies, macaroons, amazing home baked breads, etc etc but when you're in a jam they come through! i never would have thought to reach out for a "fancy" or"complicated" cake but Kathleen and Manuela helped create a beautiful cake for my daughters birthday. it was done on no notice and replicated beautifully to the photo provided. Not only did the cake look good but it tasted amazing! I will reach out to this team without hesitation in the future and cannot recommend them enough. thank you Kathleen and Manuela for everything!

Amazing bakery with excellent customer service! I always wanted a bakery to get Gluten Free cakes and I have to say they are the best bakery i’ve been to. Very easy to place an order and everything was well organized. Really enjoyed my cake and will definitely come back in the future!!!

Traditional taste was the perfect caterer for our wedding! We had them do a dessert table and charcuterie table for our wedding. Their food and desserts were just incredible! On top of that, they were so accommodating for allergies and sensitivities. They did a beautiful job at setting up the tables. They were focused and on top of everything and very discreet when bringing out more food and breaking down trays. Beyond their food, they were extremely kind and were super helpful with many great tips we used for our wedding. We will never forget what a personal and flawless service they did for us. We would never recommend another bakery more highly than traditional taste.
