I've been shopping at Mountainview Variety for over 12 years. Yes, I've gotten to know the owners and staff. Yes, I might now be biased. No, I wouldn't give an outstanding review, unless they're products & services were just that ... OUTSTANDING!

I've never seen a bad mood. I've never heard a negative interaction. I've never viewed an unclean store. I've never noticed an expired/spoiled product.

I've always seen a welcoming smile. I've always heard positive interactions. I've always viewed a tidy store. I've always noticed my pleasure with every purchase I have!

Great local convenience store. Has all the basics you'd need and always friendly service. They also carry some cool candy varieties and imported sodas from the US which is always a plus!

Store:
Open all year even limited hours on Christmas day(which has saved me a good many times). Higher prices but youd expect that from any corner store.
Great staff and always friendly. My teen frequently visits this store with his friends(nicknamed "the kitkat store" due to the sign). They've never been treated poorly just for being teens like some other stores might. My go to store for late night snacks for hubby and myself after the kids go to bed 🤣. Ice creams, chips, candys, chocolate, cleaning supplies, baking goods, limited pharmacy items, milk, soda, even fireworks or flowers depending on the time of year.

Laundrymat:
I love that you can just got to the store next door to get change for the laundry. Makes it easier then going to the bank. Plus you can grab a snack and drink while you wait for your laundry to wash. Staff are always friendly and great. My only complaint is that the machines are out of order very often(probably due to abuse). It's always annoying when you think your clothes should be dry but they've been in a dryer with no heat so your wait starts all over again ☹. Been coming here since 2004 and prices have only increased twice on washers and once on dryers.
