Sobeys - Village Mall

This was my second time at Sobeys in red deer. I apparently took a picture of cheese. Google asked me to review because of that photo in my gallery and you wouldn't expect this but this event inspired a poem

Behold

In red deer, sobeys called for round two,
A cheese pic I took, just out of the blue.
Google chimed in with glee,
"Share your review, pretty please!"
And that's how my cheese snapshot uploaded for you to view.

Staff is fantastic and friendly and the bakery is always fresh. Prices are great. I actually enjoy this store because the fresh bakery and meat. It beats super store as the parking lot is junkie free and you won’t get mobbed for change or robbed. They do a fantastic job at this store I recommend it.

The staff were very cheerful and helpful even though they were working on Easter. Very good atmosphere to be in.

"Just because I gave a 5-star rating doesn't necessarily mean I loved it - haha! However, the store is convenient because it offers a wide selection of groceries, including international products. Besides, the store operates at convenient hours. And, of course, I must not forget to mention their marvellous service."

The Pharmacist, Robert is A 1!!! We are new comers to Red Deer. Had to transfer some prescriptions. Although my blunder he was amicable, funny and understanding and had education to share with me. Super appreciative of people like him.

I bought sushi for supper it was delicious and thanks to the lady who look for chopsticks for me.

It's nice and clean when needed in a pinch

Great place to shop. A lot of fresh ready to made meals and you can get a 7 day pass to GoodLife fitness to supplement your nutrition.

April 02 2023 Store looked clean and organized. Food products were faced and set out to be clearly seen. Staff was helpful when asked where certain products were located. This Sobeys location was nice to shop at. Thank you Sobeys.

Great atmosphere, great employees, open early. Fairly competitive price wise.

Sobeys has it all. Fresh produce, large meat counter and I love the smell of the bakery first thing in the morning.

This post is about the staff! I had donated blood shortly before entering the store. I eventually started feeling light headed and was passing out. Three amazing staff members came to help me. Staying with me, getting
me some apple juice, taking my groceries to my vehicle and waiting until I had contacted my family for help. They went above and beyond and I’m so grateful for Rob, Chelsea, and Katie! Thankyou so much for your kindness. 😊

Veronica in fresh cut was amazing! She cut my onion for me upon request. Took her less than 5 minutes and I was on my way! Awesome customer service and efficient worker:)

Been going here since it opened, great selection, very clean, best fruit and produce section out any sobeys I've been and very good staff ouite a few have been there for years. Listening to their staff is the best thing any store can do.

Bakery was great. Called in first thing in the am for a cake and by 430 is was ready for pickup. Nothing fancy but the cake was delightful. Not too sweet and my child loved not having to use a plate.
My go to cake spot from now on! Hats off bakery staff!

Not only did they have all I needed they found my DL and healthcare cards that fell out of my wallet and sent them to me registered mail. That tells you about how important their customers are to them. Treated me like family. So thankful.
