RBC Royal Bank

When I came to Canada in 2016 I opened a bank account in this branch. Staffs help and support were awesome so far. From 2018 Bikramjit is helping me regarding my banking questions and problem. He is knowledgeable, kind, and supportive. I had really good experiences with him for many topics including, home equity, day to day banking, and part of my mortgage.

If it's not the best RBC branch in Canada, it is the best RBC branch in the region. All employees there are very professional, pleasant and respectful. These employees are heroes working so hard during a global pandemic.

Not my branch, but always great to do busines here.

Rbc uptown Waterloo is brutal. Cross .the street and walk half a block to the Scotia and there excellent service.

In Dec 2023, I requested for an appointment at 2.30 PM. An advisor called me ahead of time while I was at work at 9:45 AM. Since I was on short break, I entertained him was I asked for a credit card replacement and that card never came until now. I called today and spoke with another agent and started with the same story about the card replacement. After 40 minutes of conversation, the line was cut off all of a sudden. I didn't get the call back. No update. What a joke. I already stopped using most of their services because of poor customer service. There are better banks. There was one staff named Andres from here that was really amazing though! Can someone from this RBC reach me out regarding this?

The RBC IS A COLLECTION AGENCY that I never heard of gave them my banking info now that agency has drained my bank account .and it seems there's nothnothing I can do .if you think your money's safe with Rbc think again.i asked to speak to the manager the teller denied me my right.ssteve f.

A couple of months back I came here to deposit a draft from another bank up the road and was hoping to have it cleared automatically. I had the manager's card from the other bank, all the slips etc. This has never been an issue in the past and I was depositing into an account with 30+ years of history. Unfortunately, the employees here gave me the runaround and so did the branch manager Lili. They asked multiple questions and tried to sell me other products while not solving my problem, and wasted my time making me late for another appointment. Obviously there's a real problem here from the top down and they have no concept of individualized service. A real black mark for the RBC brand.

Branch manager was of no help over e-mail after the fact, and the phone number on her business card was actually disconnected/wrong...

On the plus side, I went to the downtown Kitchener branch and they were able to help me out in minutes, no questions asked. If you need to bank with RBC, this is a far better branch.
