Truck and Car

Bought a 2015 Volvo VNL recently.
In house financing to keep everything cheap, did the safety and got me on the road in no time. Had some troubles after buying the truck and Gerry almost demanded I bring the truck back to have his guys fix it, even on his dime. Would highly recommend buying a truck from them to anyone, hands down an honest dealer.

I bought my Mercedes E-350 out of Truck and car, it runs smooth and fuel efficient however I had one problem with blind support sensors but Garry promised me that he will get it fixed.I like their service.

If possible I give a 0 star rating this place has no loyalty to customer service. You are treated good until you pay them then you are nobody so if you feel like being treated like nobody call them the worst I ever been treated after a sale. Would not recommend to anybody

Bought a truck here and it was supposed to come with a fresh Ontario Safety on it. Instead they sent it with a current safety that was performed earlier in the month. The truck was delivered to me in Alberta. The truck required over $5000.00 dollars worth of repairs to get it to pass an Alberta safety. Brake drums had heat fractures, shock mounts were pounded out, leaking front axel seal, front wheel bearings gone on one side, and a number of lights not working with wiring issues. Most dishonest place I have ever dealt with. Garry did not stand behind his word at all. Even the delivery took for ever and I was fed a number of excuses. Buyers for heavy trucks beware as purchasing with a fresh safety doesn’t mean anything if you are buying out of Province.

I bought a vehicle 9 months ago from Truck and Car in Aberfoyle. When I went to sign the papers I was charged with an extra $500 finance charge since Truck and Car used another dealership across the street to do the financing.

At this point, I should have walked out and said keep the truck. This was the first time in the whole process they brought up the additional $500 in finance charge.

Once I got the truck it broke down 3 times in the first month. They repaired it and charged me $800 telling me the CAA technician burned the alternator when he tried charging the battery and ruined the fuel pump as well.

The fourth time it broke down they sent it to the local ford dealership only to find out the kill switch that protects the truck from catching fire if it flips was broken. Then they asked me to split the $150 bill they got from the ford dealership.

When I bought the truck I was promised a 1 year warranty from Coast to Coast. I still haven`t received it.

6 weeks ago I contacted them via email to find out where my warranty was.

After a few emails promising to hound coast to coast I have still heard nothing and received nothing.

At this point, I`m a week away from contacting the better business bureau of Ontario and lodging a complaint.
