Jimolly's Bakery Cafe

What a delight to find this spot. Wife had a specialty honey cinnamon latte with white chocolate raspberry scone while I tried the cinnamon swirl. Great location at the end of Inglis Place and across from VIA Rail station. Half-price baked goods were a surprise and just as yummy.

I love the cozy vibe and the food is delicious!

Edit: Since I was back in town, I returned for yet another great breakfast (breakfast menu ends at 11 am). Staff is friendly and helpful!

Oh my gosh, what a nice spot for a sandwich and sweet bite! I had a super delicious lunch and really enjoyed the cozy, friendly atmosphere! Next time I might try one of the mouthwatering hot beverages I saw on the menu. 🤔 The picture is just half a sandwich, I shared one with my friend. They were kind enough to put it on two plates. 😋

Jimolly's is such a lovely little spot. Food was great, service was polite, and coffee was delicious. Truro needs more businesses like this to keep the town feeling fresh and lively.

My husband and I love exploring new eatery spots. Stopped in for Breakfast. Had Breakfast sandwiches, black coffee and a cafe mocha. My son loved their muffins.😍 Everything was Scrumptious! 😋

Please stop here for coffee and food if you pass by, high quality ingredients, they sell real food, best salad in a while. Coffee is great too! Staff extremely nice

Best coffee shop atmosphere around. If you're looking for a cozy and private place to have coffee, look no further. The tables are spaced nicely apart with many different seating options. Cozy chairs by the fire, tables by the window, stools at the bar. I've been to a few different cafes in town and Jimollys has the most reasonably priced food. An amazing breakfast sandwich for around $5? Even their lunch menu has many items under $10 - that's hard to find these days. The salad bar is delicious and you can't go wrong with a chai latte & scone.

Stopped in for Breakfast. Had the Sandwich 2.0, a Latte, and a Scone of course! Everything was Absolutely Delicious! The atmosphere is very cozy, and host was so incredibly sweet! 10/10 Recommended! Will be coming back next time I'm in Truro!

I had the original breakfast sandwich and my partner had the bagel sandwich. Both were 10/10 amazing! We both had hot chocolate which was also delicious (milk based). The only complaint we had was not with the breakfast which was perfect but was when we left we noticed that the loaf of bread we purchased for our lunch picnic was mouldy. Partly our fault for not checking in the store! Thank you for a fantastic experience overall.

Got lunch there, disappointed they had no ham left for the Cubano sandwich, however the Club on homemade white bread was awesome made just right. Next time in Truro will return hopefully for a Cubano sandwich! Staff were very friendly and attentive!

We stopped in for lunch on the recommendation of the ladies at My Home Mercantile. Great advice! The choices were varied and interesting. Sandwiches were hearty and delicious.
Looking forward to a repeat visit.

I stopped in today out of curiosity. It was a neat experience! Very rustic place, feels more like a community than a cafe! I was impressed with the dairy free options. I had a London fog made with oat milk. It was expensive but oh my it was good... Didn’t order food but the salad bar looked cool. Service was friendly and prompt.

Truro hadn’t exactly wowed us but then we stopped here for coffee on our way out of town. BEST. CHOICE. EVER!
The coffee was great, the donuts were awesome, and Felix behind the counter was the whipped cream AND a cherry on the whole thing. Charming, funny, entertaining, and a Master Chef to boot. If we hadn’t already had a day planned, we probably would’ve stayed just to enjoy the banter (some locals at another table also stopped to chat when they heard we were from out of town). The rest of Truro might need a little polish, but this part of town is worth stopping for.

Love the atmosphere, especially a real wood stove! Feels cozy and food was good. Heard they do live music etc which is awesome

Best takeaway and also best spinach salad in the area. Serving size was large. We haven’t dined in anywhere since Covid started but we get take away often. Wait staff was kind too. We will be back. All the recommendations were correct!

Chill vibe. Perfect place to work on your laptop while eating lunch or grabbing a coffee. Staff is very friendly. Love the atmosphere. Dogs are welcome which is great since not many café allows pets. Favorite Cafe in truro.

The atmosphere was first noted, very desirable. Friendly, helpful staff. I was very impressed with the food, homemade, real ingredients, not processed. Your coffee was exceptional! Enjoyed my visit, definitely shall return. ")

I absolutely love the new location with the beautiful renovations. It's much bigger and spacious. The weekly special was a maple bacon grilled cheese sandwich with dill pickles, mayo, and sriracha sauce on it. It was crazy delicious. Their soups and the choose-your-own salad bar are also fantastic. Can't wait to return!

This is one of the best cappuccinos that I have had since coming to Nova Scotia last week.
