Giant Tiger

I mostly go to this store for groceries. If you haven’t been to any Giant Tiger stores,, they sell more than you think in terms of staple groceries, and at really good prices. I took a lot of photos of the store so you can see for yourself. Worth checking out if you are on a budget, and they have even stocked items I couldn’t find in other stores.

This is one of the larger stores in Atlanta Canada and has a great selection of new products every time we visit and pass by Truro.

Had to wait a few mins in line for cashier but overall was pretty good

A great place to get camouflage gear and T-shirts and snacks plain ripple chips

I love this Giant Tiger. Good selection of quality clothing at great prices. Their prices on frozen items like Janes battered haddock, chicken strips, etc. almost always beat Sobeys. Their boneless chicken breasts when on sale cost considerably less than other places. And unlike Walmart, I’ve never gotten sick from their meat. They stock a wide variety of different items at fair prices, from grocery to household items like curtains, bedding, etc. Staff are always friendly and helpful. And the fact that they are Canadian owned clinches the deal for me. I want my money to stay in Canada, not benefit some huge U.S. corporation.

The sales always take me to their store. Of course, I always end up finding more great deals each time I go. The store has a huge variety and I’m impressed with the deals. Plus, the store is clean and organized with friendly staff.

a good selection of the basic things you are looking for. Only place in town to carry Pyrex measuring cups. Regular prices are competitive and sale prices are excellent. Good place to shop if on a budget.

Woohoo!! They rearranged the store back to original!! Inexpensive store...lots of bargains. Watch the produce...sometimes it's not very fresh. Most of the staff are super friendly. Clothes are a good buy. Frozen meats are always a great deal here.

I get almost everything from here great sales and decent quality for the price you pay great prices on batteries of all sizes has everything you could want all in one place always clean and staff easy to find if help is needed good selection of movies some you may not find anywhere else really sell fireworks as well. Love the fireworks seasonal stuff is great for price lots of parking available and also is easy to access just off the highway

Favorite store, but...
There was a very rude young girl working there yesterday tho. They paged her and she yelled out I'm coming (very rudely btw) with about 20 customers around her. I felt so bad for the older lady that paged her for help. If they can't be polite to co workers and customers they shouldn't be working there. I will not go in if she is there even tho its my favorite store.

I've recently started doing my weekly grocery shopping here, as the prices usually are better and it's not as busy as the bigger stores. They price match too, so if I see something that's on sale at Wal Mart I can just price match it instead of actually having to go to WalMart.
