Helpful staff. The layout is neat and well-managed. The stock is appropriate for a healthy animal . Very nice place. I intend to purchase all my pet food there.

Although the cost is astronomical to have any type of services for pets (at any vet these days), everyone at the vet was very great to deal with and very accommodating and compassionate. They addressed all my concerns in a timely manner and were so caring and loving towards my dog. I was more than happy with the level of service that was provided. After the emergency visit she went back for surgery, following 2 check-ups all on different dates and every time we went the service was consistent and above standard.

I had such great experiences with this clinic in the past, and am so happy to have my new pup Pippa treated by your kind, compassionate and knowledgeable team. Thank you 🙏

Took care of my dog while on vacation. They have a great team!

While visiting Truro from Ontario our pup needed an appointment at this veterinarian hospital. As panicked pet parents we could not have been treated nicer - from the first phone call, to our actual visit, up until a lovely follow up call we received while driving home! All the staff were kind and accommodating, including our visit throughout an already packed schedule on their end. Every staff member was friendly and happy to share their knowledge. Incredibly fair prices and transparency. We left being better pet parents and will be singing their praises to anyone in Ottawa willing to listen

Have been taking my cat here since I adopted her a year ago and every time I’ve taken her in, whether for routine appointment or an illness, I have experienced wonderful customer service and ease with booking appointments. The staff are all amazing and their compassion and care for animals always shows each time we visit.

My cat is a regular at the vet unfortunately, but I am consistently impressed with the quality of care from all staff here. They are committed to curating the best possible environment for the wellbeing of all pets and people who enter the door. The best care and treatment for your pet is always the priority, I know when I have to come to truro vet me and my cat will be taken care of.

Both of my senior dogs became sick around the same time. They were able to squeeze them in and put on antibiotics. What a world of difference!! They both have surgery coming up. I have full confidence in this team!! Everyone was very friendly and super caring. Expensive but most vets are. It’s worth every penny for this type of care 💕 Amazing!!!

My dog had a sudden medical problem yesterday while on a road trip, and she needed emergency care. Truro Veterinary Hospital was the nearest available clinic. When we arrived, Dr. Kelsey and staff were dealing with several serious or life-threatening emergency cases at once, including my dog. Their level of professionalism was extraordinary. My dog received excellent care and is doing great today.

It was the first time I brought my gentle giant into this vet for his annual check-up he's a very shy dog and anxious.

We didn't have to wait and we're seen into a room almost immediately. They were exceptional with him totally kept him at ease the entire visit. They took the time to review everything with me and make sure if I had any questions that they were answered. They suggested he would benefit from weight loss and they worked out a plan using his food (instead of trying to sell me an expensive food option) and treats and a weight goal. I liked that I could settle my bill in the appointment and I didn't have to wait again at reception.

I was quite impressed with Hannah the vet assistant and the vet, Emily Bradt.

I have had the best experience at Truro Veterinarian Clinic. Everyone is so professional & there customer service is excellent. I had to take my best friend Hiker over to see them in an emergency situation & got an appointment immediately. Right from the start they showed they cared. Dr Alanna cares so much, her & her helpers went above & beyond. Hiker & I travel over from New Glasgow, so worth the few extra miles to have a team that show they care....xoxo

Dr Gwen was so amazing with our dog - even though she had a very full schedule she took an extended amount of time to ensure she fully understand the myriad issues he had going on, physically and behaviourally, to be able to treat him properly. I’d give her and her assistants more than 5 stars if I could!

They are so amazing with my fur babies, I couldn't imagine taking them anywhere else. Thank you guys for calming a worried mommy. :)

We take both of our pets here, and Lucy and Koda love their vet. All the staff are fantastic and love pets, that is for sure. The staff really takes good care of both during visit.

Oh my gosh. This was one one of the best vet experiences I've ever had--and by far the best I've had in Nova Scotia (and we've visited 4 vets and had calls with many more). I will drive hours to continue to go there for my pets' needs. They take care of the problem, don't try to sell me stuff my pet doesn't need (but have everything my pet may want!) Loved the down to earth, sincere, kind and extremely knowledge vet!! Thank you!
