Love the beans and everyone had always been very helpful and made good recommendations. The downtown espresso is my go to espresso bean and I love it.
If you're lucky, it'll be Pepper Friday and you can pet the employee of the month!

January 2023 update
I still love this place! I still get all my coffee beans here. They have probably the best decaf beans I've tried. I can have a decaf espresso and not tell the difference. Definitely a hidden gem in the city and my go to place.

Friendly service, great price, fantastic coffee. Make sure to try the new pour over packets they are selling. Freaking fantastic!

Probably one of the best customer experiences I’ve had.

Me and a friend walked in a few minutes before closing & asked if it was possible to be served (only drinks). The manager, Max, didn’t hesitate and even allowed us to stay 10 minutes past close to finish our coffee.

Will definitely recommend this place to everyone I know & I hope I can return soon.

Great coffee and fun staff. A bit off the beaten path but it mostly serves the local working population of the surrounding off parks. The food options are also good but you may have to wait a bit around lunch as they make everything to order.

I'm a serious coffee drinker, and enjoy a variety of coffees. Cuppa Joes has a nice assortment to choose from & they roast on site.
They have a lunch menu & assorted goodies to go with your coffee or tea, & everyone who works there is really nice.
Now they have Pie...Strawberry Rhubarb & Blueberry for $2.95. Oh man...it is good! If you enjoy coffee, check them out. U will NOT be disappointed. 🌞

I absolutely love this place. The staff is amazing, always making sure to ask how you are or how your weekend was. I always feel at home in this cozy little coffee shop. And Black Bear beans....my new life line.

I have a damaged liver from hepatitis so coffee is something I have to be very careful with, even though I love it. The Mexican organic Full City Roast is a robust and flavorful coffee that does not cause liver inflammation if used in moderation. It is the only coffee I can drink consistently without getting sick

Somewhat buried in a light industrial zone behind the Superstore at Main and Marine, Vancouver's Cuppa Joe has superbly roasted organic coffees and surprisingly good light eats (the roasted red pepper sandwich I tried was excellent). Top notch service too.

Hidden gem! Quality latte and the veggie wraps are huge and tasty. Prices low and service high. Highly recommended.

Crimininally underrated. JJ, 49th, Rocanini, Timbertrain, etc, etc - I preferred CuppaJoe. No pretense, just great beans at an unreal price.
