We just celebrated my daughters Confirmation at the Cellar.. It was AMAZING. So many SAFE gluten Free options and the food was delicious. The service was WONDERFUL, at no point in the evening were we ever without. Service was incredibly attentive and very understanding of the allergies. So incredibly happy that we trusted the Cellar with such an important event, and they did not disappoint. Thank you to all of you for making the evening so perfect and memorable.

Absolutely delicious! The staff was fantastic. My favorite was definitely the Bruschetta!

If you are ever in Elora, you should try this restaurant! We came here on Oct 30 for the first time and had three appetizers (see pictures), all of which tasted amazing, better than the food we had previously had at Elora Mill. I would say these three items are the most-have dishes when you come to this restaurant. Also, all of their servers were very pleasant. Nice patio too. Will definitely return when we are in this area.

Omg the food here was BEYOND AMAZING !! I forgot to take pictures. We had the mushroom baguette along with the watermelon feta salad to start. We then had the shrimp pasta and the salmon on Quina the food was hot and so tasteful. We highly recommend this place, and 110% will be back for sure, and also, the service was fantastic thank you

Nice little place set into the basement of an older house (now business). The Cellar backs onto the Grand River and if you're lucky enough to grab a table along the railing, you can see local water life.

Food was good, I had the burger and my partner had the vegetable wrap. Caesar salad was so-so. I would probably have taken the fries if I could rewind time.

Service was fine. No issues there.

We had lunch here the other day. We had no reservations and were very lucky to have been accomodated as we were a group of 12. Staff were friendly and place was clean. We were seated on their patio which has an amazing view. We had their 8 oz house made sirloin burger, shrimp linguine, english style fish & chips and prime rib steak wrap. Everything was delicious but my fave was the shrimp linguine! Would definitely recommend to eat here if you find yourself in Elora, you won’t be disappointed.

Food is good overall, recommend trying their Wild Mushroom Crostini and Calamari as appetizers.
Main entrees are also good. The wraps could do with a little more meat in them. Thought that the fillers overpowered the main ingredient of the dish here. Their Linguine is better overall.

Last time I visited Elora I failed to get to The Cellar, since it was all booked. But on this chilly Good Friday afternoon I was lucky. The menu looked so tempting that my friends and I couldn’t make our choice. We finally stopped at calamaris, chicken wrap, veggie wrap (without a wrap itself), salad with Brussels sprouts and fish and chips. All the food was heavingly delicious! The portions are substantial. The service was great. We became fans of this place. Don’t miss it if you come to Elora!

One of the best dining experiences ever. We were revisiting this restaurant after a few years of not being to Elora. It’s a wonderful relaxing little spot backing onto the river. Jemma was so friendly & welcoming, she went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of. It was a bit chilly and we were sat near the outdoor heater but even offered us Blankets so we could keep warm! They gladly accommodated my friends food allergy which was so appreciated as dining out can sometimes be a challenge. The food was
Excellent !!!! So much so that other guests around us were also speaking amongst each other about how great their meals were. You definitely get what you pay for and the portion size was impressive. Five stars from us ! We will definitely visit next time we’re in town :) thank you for a great evening .

Family owned and operated. Best food for unbelievably low prices. I believe this place is a hidden gem. The presentation of the food may not be as fancy as a chef's restaurant but the taste is guaranteed to pass many of those chef restaurants with $$$$ prices. Yes, there is no fusion nor complicated emulsified food here but there is simple comfort food with great taste served by always smiling and caring family members. The patio is promising for summer's warmer days and it overlooks the river. I highly recommend this establishment for the picky eaters as well as people who want to stay away from chain restaurants and chef's restaurants for that matter.

Excellent service and food! Booked a large group for lunch where restaurant handled all preorders and bills seamlessly with exceptional communication and accommodation. Would definitely come again!

Great menu for the whole family with well balanced meal options. We enjoyed the prime rib dinner and salmon! Great location with views of the river.

Stellar experience! The staff were courteous and helpful throughout the evening, along with their patio being beautiful! Service was quick to take our orders and the food was brought out promptly. The pasta as well as the calamari were both cooked perfectly and were delicious! Would recommend to anyone visiting Elora!!

Literally one of the best meals of my life. My wife and I got the manyk chutney quinoa salmon and the wild mushroom crustini. We have no idea what kind of magician chefs they have working here but the food was incredible. On top of being in a beautiful patio overlooking grand river, this was truely heaven.

For dessert we got the tres leches cake and it was so soft and warm it melted our hearts even further.

I accidentally came across this wonderful place. I was not expecting much. However, the welcoming staff and the ambience piqued my appetite. We had the soup of the day followed by harvest salad, grilled salmon with quinoa and striploin steak. The cook is a magician. I think they have a patio facing the river. My next visit here will be a planned one to check out the alfresco dining.

Love this place. Food is yummy and the wait staff is lovely. Make sure you make a reservation because you can't always guarantee a table and it's also nice to be by the waters edge.

Smaller menu but excellent food and an ever better location. Had no problem getting a table here on Mother’s Day for lunch and everyone enjoyed their meal. The soup was amazing! Gluten free bun option for the burgers was great to have. I expected cubed feta with the watermelon salad but it was still great.
