It's awesome to have a fast food type place that offers so many vegan options!
The Not Chicken tacos I had were good and it's nice that you can customize your toppings as you'd like.
My only complaint was when I asked the staff member if the buffalo sauce they asked me I wanted couldn't answer whether it was vegan... I'm assuming it is since it's on the vegan menu but the staff couldn't answer my question so I left it off just in case. Prices are decent for what you get!

The man working at the burrito bar on the afternoon of May 6th was so kind! I usually don’t write reviews but his service was the friendliest I’ve had in YEARS. He went above and beyond, suggested putting our lettuce on top to avoid it getting soggy since we were taking out and labelled my vegan food for me with a smiley face too!

Wonderful variety of food incredible flavour! You have to try it! But I will warn you if you go once you'll be hooked for life! So so good! If I could I'd give it a 6 stars!

The burgers and burritos and phenomenal! The service was also great. Been here several times and they haven't disappointed.

We stopped in after checking into a nearby hotel, we all ordered the 3 tacos and got one of each, and man oh man they were delicious and very filling, my husband and son both ordered poutine as well and neither could finish their meals. The food was great, the portions were big and filling, and the staff were very friendly, very funny and just incredible to deal with. On our next trip from Cape Breton we will stop and eat here again.

We stopped here on our way to Cape Breton and it was amazing! The portions are very large and food is delicious. We had the chimichanga and the philly cheese steak poutine. Good flavour on both. Seemed like too big of a portion to finish but was so good that we had to.

Definitely a fast food spot and not “authentic” Mexican but still worth a stop if you’re looking for a quick and filling bite to eat.

First time for me and I would recommend to anyone who wants to make a change from the surrounding big chain fast food around. I ordered a large burrito 🌯 bowl 🥣 and I wasn't disappointed. I loved that you can choose what you want to put in your meals plus vegan options. Like previously mentioned by others, it is hard to communicate between the plexiglass but I must say seeing the Gordon Ramsay meme about speaking up made me laugh 😂. Thanks again 🙋🏽‍♂

Great service. Healthy and delicious alternative to burgers and fries. Although, Habaneros IS in the same site as Cheese Curds. So if a decadent poutine or juicy burger is calling out to you, you really must answer the call.

My boyfriend and I always eat here whenever we visit Truro. I aways get a burrito and I'm never disappointed. The dining area is really clean and the staff are awesome. Only suggestion I would make is bring back Corona!

Went to Habaneros for the first time this Saturday. Service was fast and friendly, portions were big and food was delicious! had the burrito bowl , what really set it apart from the Guacamole restaurant was the choice of Mexican rice and the variety of flavored sour creams! excited to try the tacos next time.

I ordered a beef burrito, it was fantastic. There was a lot of choices to include in the burrito. The server was polite and friendly and the food was prepared direcly infront of me and prepared quickly. The price was also quite reasonable.

If I am ever in the area again and need food, I would not hesitate to return.

Passed through on our way to Cape Breton and was really grateful for the chance to stop by Habanero’s! First off, the portions for whatever you order are quite generous - I got a burrito bowl and nachos, and my partner got a burrito, poutine (from next door) and we split a quesadilla for later. All of the food was made really fast and both staff working were extremely kind and attentive. Easy 5 stars!

The service is very very slow but the food can't be beat! Ordering ahead of time on the website works beautifully and lets you skip the line - it's the only way to go! Get the burrito bowl with pulled pork and mango sour cream, MMM. So happy this place has opened in Truro, another great offering to add to the town's repertoire!

We went in to have a couple of pulled pork quesadillas with some mango sour cream. It is as always one of the most fantastic meals to treat yourself to. A lil messy a whole lot delicious and a happy camper I was indeed.

Great for a healthier option that isn’t real fast food. Burrito bowl is always really filling, and has lots of vegetables! A lot more ingredients than other taco/burrito bars! My top pic in the city for burritos and tacos.

Habaneros + Cheese Curds in one location = comfort food central. The burrito from Habaneros was the freshest and tastiest burrito i've ever tried. Lots of topping choices - you basically build your own which is great.

Very impressed, staff was helpful. Food was super good! Love that you can dress your sandwich/burger however you want!
