Nancy Messom was an absolute delight to work with to achieve our real estate dream! We were purchasing while living in a different province and Nancy was very accommodating to relay information and advice, and arranging prospective home tours when we made a trip for viewings. A font of real estate wisdom and practical advice, she guided us seamlessly through the murky details and we found the perfect home! We rated our experience a 10/10 and we highly recommend Nancy for any and all your real estate needs!

My agent Alana Hyrtle was amazing from day 1. So willing and professional to help with everything I needed, even recommendations for other assistance. Always had or found answers. Very personal and responsive. Thanks Alana. Couldn't have done this without you. Highly recommend her for any realistate needs. Got me thru the move from ontario to bible hill nova scotia.

If your looking to sell your home fast, because you found a new home to spend the rest of your life in, then Lynn Colpits is the agent to call!

Lynn literally made every little detail in selling and buying so easy. She genuinely has the professionalism, and the uncanny knack to provide realist answers to every question we had.

Would we recommend Lynn? 100% YES! We can't thank you enough Lynn!!

Lynn Colpitts was absolutely wonderful to work with. We were complete newbies to the process of buying a house and she walked us through step by step. She was a wealth of knowledge and experience. We were looking at an income property and she was very knowledgeable and went over and above to help us tackle the new challenge. I was also 9 months pregnant at the time so all the stress she was able to take off my shoulders was a blessing. I am very thankful to her and I now consider her a friend!

Lynn Colpitts is a 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Plus

She’s moved to Open Door Realty since I wrote the review and would recommend finding her there. She is what made the experience what it was and is why I’m buying more property through her there.
Lynn is nothing short of AMAZING. She sold my house without any complications and made it as stress free as possible for me which is a feat in itself.
I would recommend her to anyone and everyone and you will be treated like you’re her priority and will be sure you walk away happy.
I can’t wait to buy my new home and hope to have the same experience and be able to give Lynn another review so people can really see how the experience is with her from start to finish.
She’s a rare find.....but can find her at Coldwell Open Door Realty.

5☆ Lynn Colpitts epitomizes integrity and professionalism. I worked with Lynn for over a full 1 year period, & despite my changing wants, Lynn maintained a sincere & friendly attitude throughout. Ultimately leading me to a home I love, Lynn worked tirelessly at drilling down, and then seeking out the best fit for my needs. Honest & forthright, Lynn was easy to communicate with, knows the area like the back of her hand, and was both comfortable & comforting to work with. She goes way above and beyond for her clients, and I couldn't recommend her more highly!!

After buying and selling properties in the past we had the mistaken impression that all real estate agents were pretty much equal, ( wrong ) !
Recently we sold our home property with Remax Fairlane Truro agent, Lynn Colpitts.
She changed our opinion for ever thinking all agents to be equal. Her insight of the market, guidance through the procedures, and availability to stay in contact with us at all times were well above any past experiences we’ve had. Upon our first meeting with her we felt a comfort zone because of how straight forward she explained all requirements. From that first encounter to the home’s sale her professionalism and help continued to escalate. We would highly recommend Lynn Colpitts to anyone as a top number one choice for their needs if considering a local agent.

Easy to deal with and listened to what I was looking for at what price. Was assured that I would receive updates on anything that fits my budget.

I am writing to express my deep frustration with the home-buying process we’ve experienced with our realtor since March 29th. Our journey has been fraught with issues that have significantly impacted our ability to secure a home.

Firstly, we lost the first house due to apparent communication issues among the team. This was a major setback and caused us considerable stress. The second house was lost because our realtor advised against its location, which we later found out was not as problematic as suggested. Most recently, we lost the third house due to a mishandled counteroffer, which was extremely disappointing.

Two days ago, our realtor mentioned finding another cabin for us, but we have yet to see it. Initially, the enthusiasm for helping us find our forever home was evident, but this enthusiasm has not translated into effective action. We are now losing money every day staying in hotels, which adds to our frustration.

If our realtor is not interested in selling houses, I would strongly suggest he consider finding a new job—perhaps returning to being a chef, as he might be better suited for that. This situation is becoming unbearable, and we need a real estate agent who is proactive, responsive, and dedicated to our needs.

I am writing as a concerned customer of Re/Max Fairlane Truro office. Recently my husband and I inquired about a house in the Tatamagouche area that is listed by one of your agents, Fran Grant. We are a young couple and this is our first experience with attempting to purchase our first home. Unfortunately, it is not going to work out for us at this moment, but we will be ready by end of summer. However, we are still very interested in the house and attempted to contact the owner in the event he was interested in renting or something along those lines. My husband shortly thereafter received a call from Fran Grant who was nothing but rude and conducted herself in the most unprofessional manner. Apparently she forbids us to contact the owner. I do understand that she is afraid she would lose her commission, and that would be unfortunate and not our intention, but it is pretty BOLD of her to believe she has the right to tell us who we can and cannot speak to. If we were doing something that was wrong (which we were not, this is hypothetical) perhaps she could take the approach of educator, perhaps explaining the etiquette of how things work when it comes to Real Estate and purchasing a home. I also understand it is not her job to “educate” us, but it is just standard customer service. These are very small towns and I believe we need to support each other the best we can, so why does she feel she needs to treat us in this manner? In the end, I just wanted you to know how she conducts herself and in the competitive Real Estate world I would think agents would do their best to work with the people in their area (i.e. Colchester County). I feel we are unfortunate to have encountered her, and I will be sure to spread the word in Tatamagouche that she is not a Real Estate agent people will want to deal with.

RE/MAX Fairlane Realty. BEWARE Jason Faulkner and remax Fairlane realty. In July 2019 I tried to buy a property that this person had listed and he would not provide the information we asked for until after he had an accepted offer from someone else who was putting their property on the market with RE/MAX Fairlane. This happened even after I reminded him that he was supposed to be working for the seller's best interest.
By keeping the info from us he ended up getting less for the property, but with that sale plus the sale of the second house he would get a double commision.
Jason obviously is looking after HIS best interest and no one else. I would give 0 stars but 1 is the lowest rating.
