This is the Best restaurant in Gananoque, Ontario! Food is really delicious , fresh and awesome! Recommend Maverick pizza, chicken Alfredo and spinach dip! Very friendly customer service!

The food was great. Our sever April was amazing as always. Beers could be colder. It was like they just put them in the cooler.

Update: we went for St Patrick's day, very busy, but the service was good, the food was delicious. Wish I made it in time for the cabbage rolls. Next time!!

I have always enjoyed going to Maverick's for casual dining. They offer great reasonably priced food and friendly service in a relaxed atmosphere. But I was particularly impressed when I recently hosted a birthday party for 50+ people at there in the Provincial Room. I could not have been more delighted with the result.

April and the kitchen staff provided first rate service, offering excellent advice in menu planning, room setup and overall organization, and were extremely flexible in accommodating any requests. The food was excellent, the bar service prompt and friendly, and April handled everything in a smooth, unobtrusive, but extremely efficient manner to ensure every need was met throughout the event. I received nothing but compliments about the party -- the food, the bar service, the room, etc. -- and will strongly recommend Maverick's to anyone planning a similar gathering.

Great service, excellent food, reasonably prices, and really pleasant people to deal with! And a good place to visit for brunch or a casual dinner as well!

It was our first visit to the area and opted to have dinner at Mavericks; we weren't disappointed! The food was excellent as was the service. Our server was absolutely lovely! She was attentive, knowledgeable and pleasant. She even took a few minutes to chat with us about the town, some of the locals and invited us back to visit in the summer and at Christmas. Would highly recommend this establishment.

I went to Mavericks for dinner with family and friends. It was a very busy evening on a saturday night. Our server "Trinity" (the super girl) was quick, kind, polite and friendly. Although she was tremendously busy she listened to all our requirements carefully and patiently. The food quality was awesome and the way we ordered.
We were total 11 peopel and all have enjoyed the food.
So Kudos to Trinity and the chef.

Overall, 5 stars to the chef and to the service.

A great place to relax and dine in. We were a few families that went on a cruise at 1000 islands. Was looking for a restaurant that can accommodate 16 people including kids and would take reservations ahead of time. Couple of restaurants we called didn’t take reservations and one of them said they will call back to confirm and didn’t. Maverick staff was very professional & polite. Made the reservations for us. On the day we found they organized the table ahead of time, in a separate room for 16 people, all together. Server was prompt, foods arrived surprisingly quickly , food was really good and service was excellent. Certainly will go back again if opportunity arises. Thank you so much Maverick staffs.

I was here for a 90th Birthday party. The food was great and our server was amazing. She looked after the entire party with drinks and food. She was a super star moving like wildfire. I will definitely be going back again.

My husband took me on a little drive & day date in Gananoque from Kingston..i absolutely adore this spot for lunch. The food is exceptional & the service is so friendly. I enjoyed the bacon wrapped pickles... UNREAL.

What a great place! Hubby had the Nashville and I had the 10 burger. Generous amounts, fresh burger and beer was cold. 5 stars. Great place to have a gang there.

Recommended...great place for a bite to eat...clean, plenty of choice on menu, alcohol and non-alcholic beverages, great service and staff

2nd time here. Both times the food and service were above a 5 star rating. If you are passing by Gan you need to stop here. Driving from kingston just to have lunch is 100% worth the quick trip up the 401. If you have never been here before you have to try it.

My husband and I celebrated our 60th wedding anniversary with a social and dinner gathering in the private dining room at Mavericks.

Our thanks to April and staff who spent the evening looking after all our needs. They went above and beyond to make it special and memorable. April was so wonderful in preparing for the event. We had a sit down meal for 30 people and the chef created a wonderful dinner for everyone that was delicious. If you are looking for a place to host an event in the private room, or a night out, or a casual gathering for dinner, I highly recommend going to Mavericks. The food and service is exceptional!

This was by far the BEST dinner I have had in years! We eat out a lot, and this was amazing. Waitress was lovely, atmosphere was relaxed but sort of elegant, and the food was AMAZING! I had the Blackened Salmon, it came with veggies & potatoes and it was perfect.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Food was very good and servers were great! The restaurant can get loud with lots of people due to having non sound absorbent walls/floors. This wasn't a problem for us but for those with hearing problems it could be, so curtains or rugs/carpets would be a great addition! Prices here are very fair. Overall, if I am in Gananoque again I would definitely return!

This is a must go to restaurant/pub. It's like "Cheers" Gananoque style. Great food,great service,really reasonable and you feel at home the minute you walk through the doors. Whether it's breakfast, lunch,or dinner, there are always people there...but it feels like home. Smiling faces, animated chatter ...it's just a great place to meet friends with. Put it on your must drop in list for a pint/glass/cuppa and munchies list.

Hard to imagine how the experience could have been better: 1. SERVICE: Our group for an early breakfast turned out to be MUCH bigger than we expected and the waitress didn't bat an eye. Friendly and efficient from start to finish. Every order was exactly as requested. FOOD: Served quickly and fresh, which is not easy for a large group. ROOMS: Several rooms, all bright, attractive and clean. I will certainly be back for a lunch and a dinner.
