Love this place. There are many different schnitzel options. The schnitzel is the perfect amount of moist and crisp. I had the Prague Pork Schnitzel and with a squirt of lemon it was absolutely perfect. The spaetzel is very good as well. Lightly seasoned and delicious. I also had the Salmon Dill Pate which I loved. The perogies were also delicious - the onions were perfectly cooked! Thanks so much!

Great restaurant with authentic Czech food. It was like being in Prague. They were very accommodating for food allergies. We had the borscht - like homemade. I heard a regular come in and say he dreams about it. We each had a schnitzel - one regular and one Rahm. They were sooooo delicious. The meals come with potatoes or spaetzle and coleslaw. Needless to say, we ate too much. They also have a selection of Czech beers. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Great experience. Ordered steaks, red cabbage, duck, veggies, and dessert. Overall excellent. Steaks we got as we ordered, loved it. Duck was well done but could be a bit more. Red cabbage reminded us of the European touch. Desserts were delicious as well. Bravo! Thanks for best service and cleanliness -was spotless. Michelle was astounding, pleasant and friendly waitress, though she is owner's wife.

This place was a good finding. The schnitzel is so good. Never thought I'd find good German food in this area.

Food was exelant, server was awesome. Perfect location, easy to find.
Had a late lunch so place was empty, server was very engaging.
Being a tourist town, the pricing was a bit high but appropriate for the time of season and location.
I would easily return, would like to work my way through the entire menu.

The food is the star, 3 excellent schnitzels and a fine vegetarian casserole. Service was good but nothing remarkable and the same can be said for the decor. But I'd return again and again for the food.

My family and I love this restaurant. It reopened for the season April 12 and we had to go. My parents love the rahm schnitzel with mushroom gravy. I had the best chicken schnitzel I’ve ever had. Every meal is made with love, hot and fresh. I don’t know how they make everything they cook taste so good. A great variety of options and wonderful service

Absolutely fantastic food made with love and care. Our kids loved the grilled cheese from the kids menu - so often the kids menu is a throw-away, this was quality worthy of the "adults" menu. Relaxed and friendly service. We felt right at home and will definitely come again next time we're in the area.

If you are a food lover, and wanna try out european style, (czech/german traditional cuisine), this is the place to go! Very cozy atmosphere, nice music from 80's on the background, very friendly and polite staff, excellent fresh food quality, cooked on your order, nice size portions, very decent prices. Great choices of schnitzels, goulasch or paprikas, traditional borsch, homemade piroska with Sauerkraut and potatos, and local beers or czech beers! Even desserts like traditional Apfel Strudel, nice, creamy and hot, or also traditional crème brûlé, like my mother use to do it when I was a kid! A place to remember and to comeback! 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

Excellent restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff. Best Czech food in North America. Goulash is so good and like I had in Prague. Schnitzel is amazing. Desserts are just yummy. Have never been disappointed with any visits and will definitely be returning.

Good restaurant. The food is delicious. For lovers of European cuisine, and not only, my advice to you is visit this restaurant, you won't regret it.

First of all, anyone who has given this place a bad review, needs to get their taste buds checked, SERIOUSLY. This place is WAY under rated. Went there with my wife this past Saturday evening, traveling from Ottawa for one night out of town just the two of us. We shared the Pilsen Goulash and the Rahm Schnitzel, I happen to be a die hard fan of Schnitzel, and this was by a long shot, the very best Schnitzel I have ever had. Served with a beautiful mushroom sauce, I asked for the roasted potatoes but accidently got the Spätzle, this was not an issue at all (because it was so well prepared) and I didn't even mentioned it to them as the food was of superior quality, the Goulash was absolutely delicious, the beef was fork tender and the sauce was nothing short of decadent, not to mention the fluffy bread dumpling, which my wife is still trying to process, could not believe how well it paired with the Goulash. Service was very friendly (young fellow who served us was well mannered and courteous) and I DEFINATELY recommend to anyone. Compliments to the chef, we are going back for the upcoming labor day weekend....

Old-school Eurpean restaurant. We had a wonderful meal tonight. Schnitzel with mushroom sauce is absolutely delicious. Also loved the borsh and the perogies (shared). Comfort food of the highest order accompanied by high-quality Czech beer. And great service to boot.

Everyone's meals, Beef Rouladen, leg of Duck, and burger were delicious but we would have preferred larger portions. I had both the light and dark Czech beers and I loved them both.

Their food is great. Excellent customer service and very accommodating to people with allergies. So if you have allergies like me this is the best place to go if you’re visiting Gananoque, Ontario.

Lots of gluten free options, love this family run business. Food is delicious. Fast service. I highly recommend love your soup btw!

Cozy place for a tasty lunch. We visited post the lunch hour and was greeted immediately. The service was excellent and the food (penne pasta, fried shrimp and haddock) was delicious. They even have patio seating.

Pierogi (bacon and jalapeno) were delicious! Borscht (beet soup) was great too. Nice light dinner.

We stopped in Ganacoque for a few days while boating in the Thousands Island. No reservation and we got into the Maple Leaf around 20:00 on a Wednesday night. Great service , great menu and we decided to go for the diner menu: Rahm Schnitzel and chicken Schnitzel, simply excellent. Make sure to take the spaetzle! Great service!!!!!!

My wife, my kids and I dined here tonight. We ordered the pierogi, a bratwurst, the hummus veggie wrap, poutine, and chicken tenders for the kids.

I'm from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and come from an Eastern European family, so I know pierogi. I've had homemade from my great grandma and various aunts and babushka wearing ladies in my 36 years of life, and these were among the best I have ever had. Seriously, I've had thousands of pierogi in my lifetime. They were served with crumbled bacon and perfectly caramelized onion. I just wish they had a lekvar (prune) pierogi on the menu.

The bratwurst and borscht were also really good. Wish I was staying in town one more night to try some more dishes.

Also, they had a couple Czech beers on tap which never disappoint. I had Czechvar and it was very crisp and fresh . Great food, and if I ever return to this town again, I will definitely be stopping by.
