The Whistle Stop Acton

Hands down the Best breakfast and lunch spot in Halton Hills! Food portions were generous, piping hot and delicious. Best bang for your buck. Hubby says this is his new favourite place for a big breakfast!

What a great spot for a brunch with friends and relatives. Went here a few weeks ago for a late lunch and I absolutely loved the food and service. My server was Kathleen and she was spectacular. I ordered the Southwest Burger and it was great with fries. Parking space is limited in the back of the restaurant but there’s plenty of street parking. Will be coming back!

The new owners from a year ago are really terrific and provide THE BEST; service, attitude, responsiveness, atmosphere, and good food. It's a great restaurant for breakfast or bruch. I didn't have anything other than great eggs brenedict, and THE BEST home fries I've ever had. I also had some yummy ice cream from their ice cream bar

I used to pass this restaurant at least once a week but never thought of stopping in! Visited today with my Mom and we had the absolute best time! The service was amazing, the food is delicious and the prices are great! 100% recommend this place to everyone! Can’t wait to come back with the rest of my family.

Food was great, service was stellar, the decor not bad but the atmosphere is friendly and everyone seems jovial. That seems to be the spirit of this restaurant.. The prices are really reasonable. You cannot get a better restaurant in Acton for breakfast and lunch. Go there, you wont be disappointed.

Had a pleasant experience this afternoon at The Whistle Stop Acton for brunch. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, home fries are seriously chefs kiss & it is definitely a place I will revisit in the future. Thank you again to the staff ! :)

First visit here. The server greeted me with a smile when I arrived and served hot coffee right away. Excellent hash browns and toast with eggs. A simple bacon and egg breakfast perfectly executed.

Great place!!! Very clean and love the plexiglass between tables. Family friendly and super friendly staff!! Food is great and portions are big!! I recommend the poutine...my kids were super happy and love the people there. We will be returning!! Amazing coffee (and I am very picky with my coffee)!!!

The food was great and filling! The homemade fries were my favourite. 🤤

The service was also exceptional. The staff made my friend and I feel very welcomed. We’ll definitely go back to try more of their food!

I have reserved my review until my third visit in as many weeks and it is all 5-Stars. It is a very subdued/subtle street frontage place that is much larger behind the glass. It's worth the drive to Acton for The Whistle Stop!

My wife Bonnie and I frequent this location about once every 2 weeks. It is always great food and the staff are except. Jay the owner is a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend the all day breakfast. Of course thew rest of the menu that we have tried so far has all been excellent. Kat you are the best, thank you.

Whistlestop in Acton is owned and run by a warm, friendly, and hardworking couple. The coffee is always fresh. The food is made with care and pride by the kitchen staff and served to you by an incredibly friendly wait staff. Whistlestop has an accepting and welcoming environment that invites people from all walks of life.

There is only ~6 parking spots behind the building but you can park on Elgin Street or Mill Street for free.

It is not wheelchair accessible at the moment but if you call ahead or ask for assistance they will not hesitate to accommodate your needs.

So glad we stopped here - as the other reviews say, service couldn't be more friendly or welcoming and the food is fresh and good. Would definitely go back.

I've been eating at Whistle Stop since it was in Rockwood and I was in public school... a long time. Now it's in Acton, I live here so it's perfect! The food is outstanding, the staff are wonderful!

We go all the time for breakfast.
It’s always clean, the staff are friendly and attentive and the food is always great. The bacon is always perfectly crispy and the home fries are fantastic, probably the best I’ve had. We are also obsessed with their white bread toast. I know it’s just bread but it’s so good.
We are never disappointed!
