Global Pet Foods

We just met Dan, the store owner of Global Pet Foods today & must commend him on his high level of knowledge & expertise. Although he is not a vet, he's seems to be close enuf to being one with the large wealth of knowledge that he has about many different types of pets. He willingly shared lots of valuable info about the baby Fancy Rat that we recently adopted from an outta town pet store. At the time, we had no idea that it came with an RTI. We even called there & they said, if we're not happy with our purchase, we can always return her & get our $ back if we would like? NOT...how could we? She's already part of our family & a real sweetie. We love her & want to give her a good home & the best start on her short life span! And we wanna help her in possible way that we can! But sadly, the only available outta town small creature/exotic pet vets want $150-$175+hst for an exam only. Me goodness! But today by chance, we stopped into Global Pet Foods for our 1st time in years & Dan was there to happily greet us. Then he spent lots of time walking us thru several low cost remedies that we can try 1st before pursuing an expensive vet next, if needed. We are very grateful for his free consultation, thanks Dan. And, we also plan to return there soon to give him an update. And we're also hoping to share with him that the remedy we chose is helping. And how he was also able to help us save a bundle in vet bills! Thanks again Dan (& staff) for everything that you do for our pet friends & for us! We'll drop in again soon...

Big Thank you to Karolina who works here, she is definitely a big wealth of information who got us set up with all the essentials for our new kittens !! Also more than likely saved one of our little kitties who wasn’t eating and helped explain why and what to do and the little critter is back on track. Thank you again.

This place is absolutely wonderful. They always do their best to help you find what you need, and offer alternatives when they don't have exactly what you're looking for. I want to thank the young man who helped me carry my dog food to my car last week after a serious rib injury left me unable to do so myself.

Very knowledgeable and extremely friendly

I recently got a puppy, and I didn’t even know we had a global pet foods in town until I drove past it tonight (I wasn’t a pet owner so it wasn’t on my radar). I stopped in to pick up a thing or two and had an amazing experience! I was greeted right away and asked if I was looking for something. The staff member helped me find the exact items I was looking for and answered all my questions with some knowledge and experience. She was really friendly and personable, she even thanked me on my way out. This was such a different experience from what I had at another pet store in town that I think I will do business with global exclusively in future.

We are fairly new customers but couldn't be happier. We shop here for all our dog's raw food diet needs. Great customer service and the owner is very knowledgeable.

We have a very picky cat and wanted to try some new food. Staff was super helpful and gave us a bunch of good options for our cat. Just have to wait and see if our cat agrees with our choice!

Quick, friendly, and to the point. They always have the dog food I'm looking for (Lifetime) and they happily enforce safety protocols for the benefit of staff and customers.

Very impressed with the knowledge and professionalism of the staff. Very pet-friendly environment. Good sugggestions offered for some concerns I shared about one of my pets. Will be going back, for sure.
