My friend and I drove over 1.5 hours to visit Elora Quarry and the small shops in Elora. This was definitely a hidden gem! They’ve partnered with tons of local, small businesses to provide stickers, bookmarks, tote bags, and more.

Their book selections have tons of variety and their “blind date with a book” provides a genre and (sometimes) a small summary of what to expect. These are placed and displayed around the store and are very fun to explore!

We’ve done the road trip two more times since our visit just to visit this bookstore and Elora Quarry (which is only seven minutes away). Amazing people and amazing vibes here!

My favourite used book store. Great selection and prices. But honestly I also love all the local/small shop products they sell. Plus the staff are so friendly and they are inclusive. Great place all around!

I'm from Toronto and went to visit Elora, and stumbled across this bookstore. The bookstore was so cute and charming, and the owner was super friendly. I ended up leaving with three books, one of them being a surprise that was wrapped up and came with some cute goodies. Prices were so super affordable.

So happy to see places like this exist, and wish I lived closer so I could be here often.

Stopped in during an autumn trip to Elora.
They had Halloween mystery bags - get a surprise book and some goodies for $10. I was expecting a mediocre book that they were trying to purge it ended up being a 400+ page thriller along with some spooky, humorous stickers.

Definitely stopping in next time we're in town.

I so wish I lived closer to this store. I would visit every day if I could.
When I came for the first time last summer, I discovered what a treasure trove this shop was for the vintage 80s and 90s kids books I read back in the day. Prices were very reasonable and there was lots to look at. I especially loved the area full of blind buy books. It was so clever and added to the charm of the shop.
In terms of an online experience, I purchased two books through their Instagram account. I really appreciate the fantastic customer service I received, which included getting two thin books to me at the lowest shipping price possible. It really meant a lot that I found these old copies and that the staff was willing to send them to me outside of the Wellington County region.

I can't wait to stop by again!

This is an incredibly cute and cozy bookshop that has a variety of genres and things other than books too! There were cute stickers and tote bags, and to my great surprise and happiness, foreign language books, which can be hard to find.

It was still there when I dropped in and I was very happy about that.

Offer wide ranges of used books for kids, youth and adults at reasonable price. The owner is super friendly and she had amazing interaction with every single customers. Lovely vibes and LGBTQ friendly, definitely recommend.

I wanted to order a hard to get book online, and, in the end, I also got a couple of books with similar themes for my daughter. The service was beyond compare, and Kimberley was super helpful. I will definitely be looking for opportunities to buy from Cordial Clove again.

FOLLOW UP- I made another order, this time for my nephew. Once again, excellent service from Gabby, and I was able to get him some really good books (the choice here is excellent). Much better than Amazon :)

Cordial Clove has quickly become one of my favourite bookshops. The atmosphere is welcoming, the owners and staff are super friendly and engaging, and the store layout invites browsers to explore every nook. I often find that small bookshops can be uncomfortable and awkward. Cordial Clove has helped to redefine how I think of these stores.

The selection of used, local, and (more recently) new books is incredible. There is always a mix of surprising finds, literature, prominent titles, and hidden gems. Their merchandise is also fantastic and well placed in the store. I always seem to come out with a stack of books, and it feels like I could keep browsing in perpetuity.

My family has always loved Elora. The town is outstanding. Cordial Clove now has us making the trip a regularly to (first and foremost) browse and then explore the surroundings.

This store is a model for what indie bookstores can be. I look forward to coming back time and time again. Thanks for all you've done with the store.

Particularly liked the ‘blind date with a book’ idea of selling books covered in opaque paper and adorned with short teasing descriptions of the books inside.

Such a cute shop in a quaint village. The owners are amazing and helpful and always willing to make recommendations and I love that the inventory is online and easy to search so I can keep an eye out for titles I'm interested in!

Absolutely adorable and fantastic shop in Elora. Quite the curated selection, everything was great quality. Great selection of Small business crafts and goods also. They went the extra mile to make sure a birthday surprise could be pulled off for a friend. They communicated promptly and were very helpful over social media as well.

Gave us some great recommendations of other local shops and businesses to check out as well.

We have been several times to this bookstore, and love coming back! Both Kim and Gabby are incredibly attentive and helpful in store, and made the online ordering experience incredibly easy. We love the extra touches to the store and variety of goodies (stickers, keychains, teas etc) from the variety of vendors. And there is always a good book to find! :)

This quaint little bookshop is amazing. More than just a used bookstore. They have great quality used books of course at a great price, but you can also find local artisan products to enjoy with your literary adventures! The owners are super helpful and friendly too!

An absolutely lovely location. With many fancy book covers, and hard to find books. Plus a lot of fun knick knacks and themed items. All of that with the friendliest and most helpful person working there, who helped us find the book Beautiful Joe! Thank you again!

Absolutely amazing store. It was a delight to shop there. If you're passing through town, it is a must stop. The selection is top notch, just be careful I went in looking for 1 book and left with 8 haha. I will definitely stop in here again.
