This is our favorite home hardware store. IT employs staff who are very knowledgeable and experienced. They take their time with you and help you choose the correct items. They will also provide great advice on how to go about your project large or small if you are unsure what to do. This is a great little store with great people. They have helped us a lot. Edit: I was prompted to add more to my review and to tell you the truth it's hard to beat quality which they provide. I'm currently involved in another project and they have been very very helpful to me. I have no hesitation in recommending this business to anybody. Go there, you will not be disappointed

Support Local!!! Great store!!! Great staff!!! Great products!!! Great prices!!! The other day I went out to grab a pizza just down the street for out local Home Hardware. I had a fifteen minute wait so I ventured over to the hardware store to pick up a few light bulbs. While shopping for lightbulbs I eyed an upright freezer that was on sale. I inquired about the dimensions and service lady was more than helpful getting me all the information I required. I mentionned that I needed to go fetch my pizza and that I would most likely be back tomorrow for this freezer once I checked the size of the opening I had for the freezer. Needless to say the next day I went back and the staff were more than helpful to load the freezer onto my truck.
It's service like this that makes loyal customers shop and keep coming back to shop at local businesses like this. Thank you for your dedication and service to your community.

I have been frequenting this location since I moved to Rockwood about three years ago. We moved here from the GTA.

I am an avid handyman and perform all of my own repairs and renovations on my home and vehicles.

I must admit that prior to living here I would only visit the big box stores. I used to have the opinion that visiting a Home Hardware was a waste of time as they would frequently not have what I needed and this was not the case at the big box stores.

When I first visited this location in order to pick up something quickly as opposed to driving in to Guelph I realized that they have much more in stock than I anticipated. The staff at this location are all very friendly and eager to assist.

Despite the size of the store as compared to a big box they usually have what I need. I credit this to good stock management. Most common items are in store and even other things that I assumed they may not carry. They even have a great selection of coffee pods.

The store is also well organized. In the past at other Home Hardware locations I found that the shelves were overcrowded and disorganized as they were trying to fit too many items in to a smaller location. That was not the case here.

I do e-mail the store sometimes to check on stock for items that may not be very common and they always respond quickly. They will order the items for me if needed and will even take the time to offer alternates if they have something on hand that may work for me. I have been directed to other local suppliers for things that they don’t normally carry and the owner has even called ahead for me to ensure they had what I needed.

I did order some big ticket items for a bathroom renovation including a full shower insert and a toilet. The owner did assist me and also provided a discount that made the decision to purchase through them a no brainer.

I still do go to the big box stores in Guelph occasionally out of necessity but that is rare as this store is very well run and very well stocked. So glad that I can support a local business that I feel embodies "Small town hospitality"

This store has everything you need and a fine selection of butter tarts! I picked up a few things and a skimmer for the hot tub. All great prices and fantastic customer service! A hidden gem.

Our home from home. If they haven't got it there and then they'll order it for you. This is what hometown stores are like friendly, great prices and they know who you are so they'll see you right. We've been faithful customers for nearly 25 years and have never been disappointed.

I love my local home hardware. They always have at least one of whatever weird or obscure home repair item you need. They are super friendly and if you don't know how to fix it, they probably do! All of their staff is very knowledgeable and have been there for a long time. You may have to pay $1 more, but at least you don't have to drive to guelph, wait in a line and then find out you bought the wrong part at the big orange store.

Very helpful and friendly staff, helped me find everything on my list with a smile. During the July 2022 Roger's outage they were still going above and beyond to help everyone who came in, would definitely recommend this location.

Nice clean store

Stopped for a kiddie pool for my dogs that I had seen a week ago. Two employees- male and female- were so very kind to notice my SUV was leaking, came out and checked to ensure it was just an air conditioning leak. How very kind!!! At the end of the day, the pool wouldn't fit in my SUV as I was traveling with two dogs. But, I have to comment on the kindness demonstrated by two staff members there. I was very humbled by your kindness and caring! Thank you 💕

This franchise has been here for a long time and provides an excellent variety of products and services to the surrounding community you can't go wrong with stopping by and having a good look at what they have.

Closest hardware store to my house. Small town feel, friendly and helpful staff. Good selection for the size of the store, and will order anything they don't have.
P.S. They carry the Wellington County garbage bags.

Staff here are super friendly and very helpful. Things are easy to find and the store is very clean.

Oddly enough, for a small village hardware store they have a better selection than Canadian Tire for simple things like drywall compound or nails. I spend too much of my money there. They're able to order in items that Home Depot says will take a few months -- but it arrives in Rockwood the next week! To make matters worse, their located less than 1.5km away. I don't get to go for a nice drive into Guelph and grab a taco when I tell my wife "I'm just going to the store for some nails..."

The best customer service you will ever experience. I will shop here first begore going anywhere else. If they dont have it they wil do their very best to find it for you! Someone is always ready to help and assit you. An all around great place to shop.

Friendliest and most helpful staff you could hope for. I don't always find everything I am looking for (it is a small town store they can only stock so much inventory), but I always check there first.
