At first compliment to the staff. Everyone is cooperative and very friendly. All the staff i have spoken to with my questions were super friendly.
Breakfast is good and there are enough refills. (Sandwiches/bread/bread spread) And I want especially mention the coffee, because I was reading someone complaining about missing out on an espresso machine 🤦‍♂ The Coffee is good. It's just general plane coffee. But if you are not spoiled then it is a good cup of coffee. Rest is enough choice in drinks, choco, tea's, juices, milk. My compliments.
The room is authentic. But with a real mountain sphere. The view is great 👍

Next to the hotel bus stop with free ski-bus and buses to Innsbruck. Skibus is traveling between three ski areas so a lot of variation.
But the local ski area, where the bus is also connected, is not too far from the hotel, 15 minutes walk.

Over there (bergbahn) again great staff and super friendly people.
So for us it was a great experience in a great ski resort.

The hotel's location offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, making it a perfect destination for nature enthusiasts and mountain lovers. The provision of free Wi-Fi and parking facilities was convenient, ensuring easy connectivity and hassle-free access to the hotel. The breakfast provided at the hotel was delicious and offered a variety of options. The rooms were well-maintained and offered a comfortable retreat after a day of exploration and outdoor activities. Having shops, gas stations, and a bus stop in close proximity to the hotel was advantageous.

One drawback noted during the stay was that the water in the pool was too cold, which could be disappointing for those looking forward to a relaxing swim. During peak hours in the evening, finding a parking space within the hotel's premises could be challenging due to the limited availability of parking spots.

Really lovely place to stay. The room was a little dated by still clean and comfortable. Host and staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was very nice too!

Very nice experience of living in authentic Austrian style hotel. It is located in Gotzens which is approximately 25 mins bus ride from Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof. Very nice location. Breakfast was included which was very nice Austrian typical food. Rooms were very clean with good facilities. Hotel staff was very polite and welcoming. Overall a very nice experience !!

Friendly staff, awesome views outside the hotel. WiFi was okay around the front desk and bar but you had to pay extra if you wanted WiFI in your room. The signal was so weak in our room that I didn't bother to pay extra for it. The indoor pool and spa were awesome!
One strange thing though is that check in starts at 2pm but when we arrived at 3:30, there was a typed note on the counter that said they would be back around 5:30. Other guests milling around the lobby said they had been waiting an hour before we got there. I guess for people that had booked and paid in advance, there were envelopes with their names on them and the keys inside. We had made our booking online that same morning as had the other families that were waiting to check in. Moral of the story, if you want to check in before 5:30, book your reservation a day or more in advance.
Also, one other strange thing, I was about to get in the shower at 8:50am when I heard a key in our door. As the bathroom door was by the main door, I peeked out just in time to see the door start to open. I shoved the door closed and hollered, 'excuse me?" and the person left without saying anything. I've been disturbed early by housekeeping before but this time we had a do not disturb sign up and they didn't knock or say anything. So I'm not sure what the deal was.

We stayed at the Edelweiss for one week in the New Year and were very happy with our stay here. The hotel has been here for many years but the owners have taken steps to keep the place up to a good standard by extending and modernising parts of the hotel. It offers a nice bar area as well as a sauna and pool, perfect after a day on the slopes. Rooms are a reasonable size and provide all the facilities that you need. ie ensuite bathroom, TV, hairdriers etc. Breakfast is buffet style and offers a good selection of both hot and cold food. If you choose to take the Half Board option you get a choice of 3 main courses, as well as soup, salad buffet and choice of desserts. The bus for Innsbruck and the ski slopes is only a 2 to 3 minute walk away. The Zach family and their staff are welcoming and helpful and I would not hesitate to recommend the hotel if you plan to stay in the Innsbruck area. It offers good value for money and is a perfect base for exploring Innsbruck and skiing in the local area.

Lovely hotel close to the slopes. Very helpful staff who kept my phone charged as my charger had broke. When I lost my room key they gave me a new room for the night freeof charge once I found the old one. Organised board and boots and also my ski pass. could not have been better. Thankyou.

We had a really lovely stay at Hotel Edelweiss. Super friendly staff, we arrived late but they still served us dinner for a very reasonable price. Clean facilities, great location.
