Great location, very nice staff treating us to some fantastic foods and drinks, and such a lovely place with pretty interiors and outside area. Felt like a bit of a ’locals’ place away from the busier centre and has a great location for starting hikes. We are so happy after our stay! Danke!

We returned a few days ago from this wonderful hotel and beautiful place in the Bavarian mountains. We must admit that our expectations were met, but not only that, we received even more. From the moment of arrival when the appearance and location of the hotel brought a smile to our faces, to the lovely and comfortable reception with a smiling and kind hostess. A few days earlier, I received an email with the option to check-in online in advance, which we did. A few hours before arrival, I received an SMS confirmation as well as the opportunity to pick up the so-called guest card with various information and bonuses that the location offers us. Since we had already sent scanned passports, at the reception, we only needed to do a digital signature and received our room key.
The room was spacious and bright, on the first floor with a terrace, where there was a table with 2 chairs and a view of the surroundings. In the bathroom, everything you need and a deep bathtub in the shower cabin, so showering was carefree. We had bed and breakfast accommodation, and I haven't seen such a beautiful and large restaurant in typical Bavarian style for a long time. Upon arrival, we had the duty to check in at the restaurant, and there we were assigned a table that we had every morning (we stayed for 3 nights). Breakfast was quite sufficient, with fresh pastries, cold cuts, cheese, fruits, muesli, jams, margarine, yogurts, juices, coffee was from a dispenser - unfortunately - but it came in cute little jugs. As soon as you enter the restaurant, you are greeted by a smiling hostess in traditional Bavarian attire, offering you eggs in two variations. Everything was excellent and tasty. On the table, there was always an updated paper with information about the expected weather/temperature during the day. And since we were there during the Easter holidays on Sunday (on Palm Sunday), we were greeted with a box of 6 small boiled eggs in cute colorful foils.

The hotel's location is perfect. Within a few minutes, you are close to the cable car, and in the immediate vicinity, there are 2 excellent restaurants and one café-bakery. Since we had wonderful sunny days, we enjoyed sitting on the terrace of the restaurant and refreshing ourselves. The hotel has its restaurant which operates from 5 to 8 pm, but we didn't try dinner at the hotel (we saw that a crowd of guests was on half board). Parking was no problem at all. All in all, we are thrilled and can't wait to come back to the same place and hotel. I want to commend the hosts for our very pleasant stay in that heavenly area, and we look forward to the next opportunity to repeat the visit. Thank you for our unforgettable Easter!

Great hotel! Really, room was clean all the time. Hotel looks nice inside and outside. Also perfect view from window! Just 2 steps to Jennerbahn and close to Königssee. Personal is very friendly and glad to help you with any info or order tickets for you. Only positive impression about hotel. Thank you guys!

Ein super Hotel mit richtig gutem Service das Frühstück ist reichhaltig die Zimmer sind sauber und gemütlich!
Das Hotel ist nur wenige geh Minuten vom Königssee entfernt und hat super Parkplätze direkt am Hotel.

Zimmer und Frühstück waren sehr gut. Das Essen abends im Hotel war sehr gut. Die Bedienung und das gesamte Personal war sehr freundlich.
Die Lage sehr gut, direkt neben der Jennerbahn.

Sehr schönes Hotel, Ruige Lage, alles nah bei. Seilbahn 3 min. Anlegestelle Königssee 10 min. Laufzeit. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich und Sauber. Die Leute sind mega Freundlich und Aufmerksam, das Frühstück ist umfangreich, alles was man zum Frühstücken braucht. Das Abendessen ist sehr lecker und das Preis Leistungs Verhältnis ist unschlagbar. Ich kann es nur Empfehlen.

Super nettes Personal, große, saubere Zimmer und leckeres Frühstück. Die Lage ist perfekt und ruhig. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Hochwertige Ausstattung des Hotels, schöne gemütliche Atmosphäre, feine Dekoration, kleinen aber feinen Wellnessbereich mit Sauna und Whirlwanne. Sauber. Sehr gutes Abendessen. Alle Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und hilfsbereit. Parkplatz vor der Tür, Jennenbahn sowie Königsee in weniger als fünf Minuten zu Fuß. Gerne wieder und zu Empfehlen!

Gutes Hotel in Schönau unweit vom Königssee. Die Lage ist umwerfend: Man hat einen freien Blick auf die umgebende Bergwelt. Geräumige Zimmer mit schönem Balkon. Sehr ordentliches Frühstück. Auch das Abendessen sollte man probieren. Besonders zu empfehlen: Griesknödelsuppe und Holzknecht-Schnitzel.

Eine Top Adresse um einen erholsamen Urlaub zu verbringen. Zimmer werden täglich gereinigt. Das Frühstück ist sehr lecker. Der Service von früh bis spät hervorragend. Für Tipps immer gut informiert. Das Restaurant bietet zudem eine gute Auswahl und Qualität. Wir werden gerne wieder kommen

Hatten eine wundervolle Woche im Mai.
Das Hotel ist Ausgangspunkt für viele tolle Wanderungen. Das Auto kann stehen gelassen werden da der Bus dank Gästekarte kostenlos ist.
Das gesamte Personal ist überaus nett und freundlich!!!Dickes Lob.

Wir kommen sicher wieder

Wir haben hier neun Tage mit Halbpension verbracht. Das Hotel ist richtig schön und das Essen sehr sehr lecker. Dir Zimmer sind schön und gross . Wir hatten mit einem Teenager und einem kleinkind ausreichend Platz. Das Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit und auch sehr lieb zu den Kindern gewesen . Wir können das hotel nur weiter empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder.

Wie immer war alles top. Das Essen war gut und reichlich. (Halbpension) .
