Hotel Königssee

The location is very convenient. Very close to the Konigsee boat service starting point and Jenner Bahn cable starting point. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. No amenties, but there is a good restaurant for dinner with lot of options and good food. Staff is supportive and friendly. Nice lake views and mountains around.

Beautiful room with side view on the lake. Great bed and shower. Breakfast was good, however I would have liked more sweet options. We also had dinner at the restaurant and that was also very good, enough vegetarian options as well. Location so close to the lake and cable car is perfect, and parking was also convenient.

We didn't stay here but the restaurant is nice. Delicious good with very friendly staff. Yummy Erdinger on draft!

In the heart of Kongissee, across from the docks, location can't be better, surrounded by restaurants and shoppes. We stayed in a newly renovated room with a balcony over looking the main street and you could still smell the new wood construction smell. Very comfortable, large work bathroom, recessed lighting in the bed room and clever design that allowed room for our stuff while maximizing the space. Receptionist was friendly. Only con was the confusion in getting our car to the parking lot for the hotel - do not follow the Google gps route, you have to take the road to the back of the hotel and then park in front of the "billiards" building - there's no sign. Would highly recommend.

Did not stay in the hotel but the restaurant is very good. Was a perfect German meal for us. And service was good. The Jager sauce may be some of the best ever. I got it on the side with traditional Vienna style pork.

Visited the restaurant. We had Schnitzel, Zanderfilet and Obazda cheese. All the dishes were great. Quick and friendly service.

I have been here three time. Winter, summer and autumn. It's an amazing place. The land scape changes with the weather, so it's never the same twice. Summer season is very busy with tourists for the boats and lake, however off season is quieter and great for hiking and exploring.
Food and restaurants can be a bit pricey, however if you explore near by villages you can find some great places at better prices.

Really nice hotel, we really enjoyed our stay for the weekend. The room (C1) was modern and clean, breakfast was good with a lot of choice and diner at the hotel restaurant was also really good. We felt welcome, everyone was super nice.

This place has incredible views and super location.....the staff was very friendly and helpful.....the breakfast was very good and nice selection.....great place for beer and conversation....would definitely stay again.

We didn't stay at the hotel, but we did go for a boat ride on the lake. There are many boats that hold 20-plus people each, so not much time is spent in the waiting line. The boat stops at a couple of areas that allows you to disembark and do some site-seeing. There is a person on board who gives you some history/highpoints of the lake. However, it helps to speak/understand German.

Very lovel hotel with friendly service. The menu is typical bavarian. The view from the hotel is extraordinary. Tipp: You must do a trip to the saletalm by boat. The boats start one minute ago from Hotel Königssee.

Stayed here for two nights. The location is unbeatable, just beside the lake and it's only one second's walking to the boat ticket office and the pier. The staff there were quite helpful and hospitable.

I didnt stay here but ate very good traditional Bavarian food. We ordered 3 dishes snd all was top

Just ate at the terrace restaurant and was delighted with the fabulous service and the delicious food. Place was very busy, but staff was friendly and helpful.
