This wonderful property was certainly the best of many places that I stayed in during my recent visit to Spain. Do not be put off by the term 'hostal' or the two star rating. The building is a truly wonderful transformation of what was originally a sugar cane factory. Every detail has been beautifully restored to provide guests with a truly authentic experience. This is made even better by wonderful hosts that will make you feel very welcome, along with providing great help with local places to eat and visit. Well worth a stay, preferably for longer than the one night that I spent there.

What a beautiful little hostel. It is very clean and well maintained. The owner (Sebastian) and his wife are friendly and polite, Nothing seems to be too much trouble.

There are many local restaurants and bars, and the seafront is about 10 minutes walk away.

Fab place central location very friendly couple Sebastian was very knowledgeable. Went to the castle which was fab and visited the tapas bars that Sebastian recommended had a brilliant time. Thankyou you are doing a great job . If you need anywhere to stay in salobrena this is the place will defiantly stay again soon.

Lovely tastefully furnished, immaculately maintained hostal. The couple running the place were so friendly and helpful.

My wife and I had a very relaxing and pleasant 6 day stay. Our room was very clean and comfortable with very friendly service from our hosts. Would highly recommend this hostal to stay and relax in.

Classic architecture (ensures cool inside), very clean, great hosts, rooms well laid out, elevator if required, rooftop deck... and great location. Host and hostess provided reliable guidance re restaurants. Tri-lingual (English, French and Spanish).

Nice cosy place with lots of flowers run by a lovely couple. We simply felt at home. Thank you.
Btw.: The WiFi is not always working reliably, but that's not really a big concerne here...

Trato excelente por parte de los dueños, el hostal es muy bonito, se duerme bien ya que no se escuchan ruidos nocturnos y los colchones estaban fenomenal. La limpieza se ve y se nota. Hay lugares cercanos para comer. La playa está a unos 10 - 15 minutos andando, la hay de arena y de cantos, el agua es cristalina.

3ª vez que venimos. Joana y Sebas son majísimos, el hostal es precioso, las habitaciones limpísimas… Te dan todas las comodidades que necesitas, así como recomendaciones de sitios a los que ir (recomiendo burger lover y La Bahía).
Tiene ascensor así que también es accesible para personas con movilidad reducida y carteles en diferentes idiomas.
No nos puede gustar más!
