Review for the restaurant

Food is great. Stopped before for tuna empanada. They didn't have it so I tried another tapas. Got the pig ear in garlic oil. Amazing!

The menu of the day is attractively diverse and at 12 euro per person very good value. I went for the caldo, the soup, chicken and chips and, to give them full credit, I asked for cheese instead of dessert. They obliged. Half a litre of local Bierzo red and a good strong Spanish coffee.

Lovely albergue in the middle of the village. Double room was comfortable and clean and right beside our shared bathroom.#
We had a delicious dinner in the restaurant. Very friendly staff.

Absolutely delicious menu del dia in a gorgeous mountain town. The soup and entree were absolutely delicious, but the star was the lemon cream dessert. Wow!

Clean and well kept hostel with warm water in the showers. Emphasis on the clean. The backyard terrace has very strong WiFi and a stunning view of the mountains. Staff was welcoming and friendly. Loved staying here. :)

29-30/3/2018 I stopped here just to have a lunch, the food was very good and I decided to overnight.
Place clean, quite, warm, 2 showers and 2 toilets for the 18 bunkbeds of the room where I was (there are 2 rooms).
Recommended (even only for lunch/dinner).

I did.not stay at this charming albergue , however the owner was the most kind and help person as I incorrectly thought I had my back pack send there. Lobo was an angel making phone calls and .I would recommend staying there.

Great place to stop on the way. Clean rooms. Excellent 👍 food. Genuine small village on the Camino. They embrace the spirit of the Camino.

Atmosphere

Paramos a comer después de una ruta en bici por la zona. Comida simple que se adaptaba perfectamente a lo que buscamos, cocina de toda la vida que a todos nos gusta y siempre va a triunfar. Además con un toque casero que le dio un sabor muy rico. El camarero que nos atendió tuvo un trato de 10. Repetiremos.

Très bon le Botillo del Bierzo 👍😋: c'est une spécialité de la Région. C'est une préparation de viandes mélangées dans un "paquet", assaisonnée avec du paprika, et servie avec des poids chiche cuisinés avec du choux 😍. Excellent 👏👏. Le menu à 20 euros avec boisson, pain, dessert. Très copieux nous avons partagé notre plat à 2.
En dessert il y a plusieurs choix (le gâteau au chocolat n'était pas très bon 😕).
