La Trucha del Arco Iris

The owners are the kindest people. I fell on the descent into El Acebo so I arrived pretty banged up. They took care of me from the moment I walked through the door bringing me tea and cakes and dressing my wounds. They also assured me they would not charge me if I wanted to leave to go home.
The room was clean and beautiful- views of the mountains and fresh flowers from their garden. You feel like you’re at home with family in this lovely casa rural.

I had a really nice stay in this lovely accomodation.

After a long and cold walked I came in and was welcomed with a hot tea.

The room is nice and warm.

And the best was the host, he's really friendly.

I totally enjoyed my stay here and would have loved to stay another day. But the Camino was calling me :)

It’s been several weeks since I stayed here and it still remains a favourite from my Camino. The accommodation itself is lovely and homey with amazing views, but what really made the experience memorable was the kindness and generosity of the owner. It was above and beyond what we ever could’ve expected. I can’t recommend La Truche enough.

Recommend this place 100%. What lovely personal attention and just such a pleasure to be able to also chat in English. The coffee was a ream treat but then again so was the breakfast and the kindness shown to us.

Amazing place to stay at Acebo. The service ks better than a 5 star hotel. The owner, Jaime, makes sure you feel comfortable at all times. And the view is a dream come true. I really recommend to stay at La Trucha

An absolute 5* . Jaime our host made a top notch dinner and breakfast and was very attentive to our suggestions. The rooms are ultra clean and I slept like a baby !

La amabilidad y atención del propietario te hace sentir como en casa. Una coqueta habitación con todo lo necesario para un buen descanso; muy limpia y acogedora. Un alojamiento muy bonito en un pequeño pero precioso pueblo antes de alcanzar Ponferrada. El desayuno genial, zumo, tostadas, dulces, fruta... y la cálida conversación con Jaume y una pareja de peregrinos para empezar el día con ánimo y fuerzas siempre es de agradecer.

Hemos estado a principios de julio y es una maravilla no le falta ningún detalle. Jaime, el anfitrión es una persona super atento y amable, nada más llegar nos ofreció te y unas galletas que nos supieron a gloria después del camino que hicimos. Estuvimos un rato hablando con el y nos enseñó su huerto que es una maravilla. Tengo por seguro que si hiciera de nuevo el camino, me volvería a hospedar ahí.

Casa rural ideal para hacer senderismo por El Bierzo, y alojamiento estupendo si estás haciendo el Camino de Santiago.
3 habitaciones dobles que se pueden alquilar independientemente o en conjunto con una relación calidad-precio insuperable. Habitaciones con mobiliario moderno y decoradas con muchísimo gusto.,instalaciones muy cómodas. El alojamiento con desayuno incluido.
Pero lo mejor del lugar su ambiente relajado y Jaime el anfitrión, que se desvive por la comodidad de sus huéspedes.
Este fin de semana ha sido una experiencia inolvidable.

Desde el primer momento los anfitriones, María Eugenia y Jaume,te hacen sentir como en casa 🏡,los detalles,flores,velas,incienso...la casa preciosa,la habitación 🛏 muy cómoda,el desayuno ☕ buenísimo 😋y la Paz del lugar y silencio,te hacen descansar muy bien.Y muy agradecida por la amabilidad, conversación,consejos para hacer rutas y lugares que visitar...sin duda volveré ,y lo recomiendo al cien por cien!!!el pueblo también es muy BONITO!!!

Estuvimos a finales de septiembre, fue al final de nuestra primera etapa del Camino en bici. La habitación y baño son estupendos, muy limpio y en buen estado. Nos encantó el pueblo y sobre todo el huerto de Jaume, se nota mucho cariño. El mejor desayuno de todo el Camino. Tiene un almacén para las bicis. Si volvemos a hacer el Camino repetiremos! Moltes gràcies Jaume!

Una casita rural con encanto en un entorno precioso, una habitación estupenda limpísima y confortable, Jaime el anfitrión, una persona encantadora y muy cercana. Llegué con una caja de ideas para visitar y el me las ordenó y gracias a él aproveché mucho más el viaje. El desayuno casero y muy bueno. Gracias Jaime por todo, si vuelvo por la zona iré a visitarte sin duda.

Cogimos dos habitaciones en la casa una noche y nos supo a muy poco, la casa es súper tranquila y puesta con muy buen gusto, y rodeada de montañas. El dueño es encantador, e hizo la estancia aún más llevadera, mis hijos no se querían ir, el desayuno exquisito. El pueblo es muy bonito, aunque no tuvimos mucho tiempo de verlo.

Muy buen hotel rural atendido personalmente por su propietario. La habitación, la cama, la limpieza y el desayuno de diez.
