Mr. Coffee & Burger

On holiday and I don't eat out much (very picky eater) and this was an amazing meal. Amedeo our server was very friendly, while trying his best to speak English, and to communicate with us.

Food was very good and waiters were friendly. Strongly can recomend this place to others!

We visited Mr. Coffee and Burger while in Peñiscola, Spain. We chose to eat here because it had good reviews, and it was right next to where we were going. It ended up being the BEST burger we’ve had in a long time. Hands down the best burger in Spain, and best burger in Europe! We ordered the Spicy Burger and the patatas rancheros. The bun and veggies were super fresh, the jalapeños were actually spicy! And the sauce on the burger was AMAZING. The patatas rancheros had the perfect amount of cheese and bacon on them, and this delicious garlic aioli hidden underneath the cheese. We also ordered sangria, and out came a goblet of sangria! Perfect amount of sweetness, and under $5 USD! Our daughter ordered the chicken sandwich (and the chicken nuggets, because we went there twice during our 1 day stay lol) and everything was so delicious. Her kids meal came in a cute box with her sandwich, fries, a lollipop, bottle of water, and she got to pick out a scoop of ice cream. All for $9! What a bargain. The second time we visited we tried the quesadilla, along with another burger, and that was just as tasty! We are from Southern California, so we know Mexican food, and the quesadilla was right up there with the best of the best.
Our servers, Nabil and Fatima, were both delightful. They were both very patient with us, since we speak little Spanish, and were so friendly with our daughter. The second time we showed up the kitchen wasn’t quite open yet. So we ordered our drinks and gave them our order (we knew exactly what we wanted!) and told them we would wait until the kitchen was open. They brought all of our food out before the kitchen had officially opened! I don’t know if they heard our daughter telling us how hungry she was or if they heard us talking about rushing to the train station, but they made it happen and we are so grateful.

I HIGHLY recommend coming here to eat while visiting Peñiscola. If you’re craving a burger, then this is the place to go. We cannot wait to come back!

Really like the place, affordable, clean and very nice.

Me and my family met the owners, they are a Romanian family that managed it, and the apartments, they are wonderful, hard-working people. Really fun and accommodating.

I placed an order for delivery and it was super quick, food was amazing all the dishes were great and full of chesse

Best sandwiches, very nice stuff (they remembered us from one day before) and good prices: 10€/ person - food and drink. Definitely recommend mr. C&B special de la casa 🍔 👌 Thank you, we will come again.

Stopped for coffee and stayed for lunch as food looked great. Glad we stayed as food is very good. Two children and four adults enjoyed themselves so much so we returned a couple of times. Nice place for a quiet coffee or beer by oneself or with friends / family.

Each year I'm coming to Peniscola and always I'm coming back to this place ! Really tasty food . Step by and convince yourself!

Nice bar restaurant, outside terrace was nice, we had Calamari and a Caesar salad, both were nice, price is very reasonable. Very friendly staff. Overall very good.

Gorgeous food! Ranch fries and chicken wings! Seasoning on the fried wings was on point! The waiter was lovely too. Great service. Unfortunately we are going home today otherwise we would have come back to try out the burgers!

Good experience, the staff were friendly and helpful. Even though we don't speak much Spanish we were able to communicate well. Portion sizes were good, all food tasty and not too expensive. Would definitely come back.

Friendly staff , good food and great value for money. However this is not why I am reviewing this place. The reason for our review is their Amazing and unbelievably tasty Goffre and Crepe. It is hands down, the best we had in our life.

First time here, highly recommend. Very friendly, food great!
