Rouen Museum of Fine Arts - Meeting of Metropolitan Museums (RMM)

Free and pretty! Highly recommend everyone to come here. Their signage is easy to understand, the museum is small enough and not too crowded (personally, I find it very inconvenient if the museum is too crowded and you don't have enough space or concentration to see the works). .

Fantastic collection of French and other varied European works ranging from paintings to sculpture, furniture and other mediums.

Impressionist collection with works from Sisley, Monet, Renoir and others is the highlight!

Free entry, allow around 1.5 hours to visit.

Vast range of collections can visited with a free ticket. I recommend to not spend to much time on the first floor and continue to the second. Many pieces from Monet are exhibited there.

Gorgeous museum! Fantastic Impressionist wing and they had my favorite artist Caravaggio!

The beautiful building and the great collection make a great experience. If you love art, this place is definitely worth it- and the admission is also free

Excellent museum, the permanent exhibitions are free to visit. Lots of nice paintings and artwork, even some Monets. A must visit when in Rouen.

If you are in Rouen make a plan and visit this Miseum, the entrance is free and you can have aquick visit of 2.hours at least. Staff is very kind and friendly.

Worth the time! Without a doubt. While all the exhibits are excellent the impressionist collection was impressive. The collection on Joan of Arc was also well done. Cost was free, but the sign did say 4 euros. Well worth more than that. The bathrooms were modern and clean.

A lovely museum in a lovely park. I enjoyed my 2-hour long visit (permanent collections did not require a ticket). There is a very interesting collection of art, including several works from geniuses like Caravaggio, Velazquez, Ribera and Gericault, as well as less known but none the less interesting Dutch and Flemish artists... and many more. Also the "anamorphose" by Domenico Piola (after a painting by Rubens) was something I've never seen before. The museum is not crowded, so one may enjoy art in a pleasant meditative atmosphere.

I was very surprised by the large collection including Monet and one very nice Chagall. I spent 2 hours here. It's free!

A great place to visit and see how Rouen has influenced artists throughout centuries. The impressionists are the star attractions but I also loved the huge paintings near the end of the tour round. So much to see into them! Plus it's free to get in!

Amazing museum with some really notable pieces of artwork. Highly recommended since it is free for everyone. There are even free lockers provided and the staff are very welcoming and nice to the visitors. Expect to spend 1-2 hours here at the least.

Great museum with a very friendly personnel. We were with little kids who were quite noisy, but the personnel didn't mind and even helped to calm the baby down. Really sweet of them.

As for the paintings - it's a very interesting collection, especially the rooms with impressionists and Dutch painters.

Visited specifically for their small impressionist collection.

It was amazing to get so close, many even without any glass, to the paintings. Really appreciated being able to see so much more detail than usual. And there was really good extensive French and English commentary.

The rest of the collection looked good as we passed through, though maybe not a lot to seek out.

Great museum that is free. It’s said to have the largest impressionist collection outside of Paris. The collection was good but reading that I expected more. The museum as a whole is quite good.

Wow - this place would grace any capital not to mind a regional French city.
Has a huge range of art from about 15th century to 20th with paintings from well know names such as Velázquez, Carravaggio, Monet etc.
And its free to everyone!!!!
