Wow, what a beautiful place! Set amongst the bamboo garden and fish ponds, this place has a special charm. Super friendly staff create a laid back atmosphere which makes for a lazy lunch. This isn't the place to rush. And the food? Well that's just amazing. Beautifully presented, with quality fresh ingredients and very tasty. We went as a family of five, and everyone rated it 5 stars 🌟

There are certain places that hold a unique charm, and among them is Bamboussaie de la Roque Gageac. While the village itself is undeniably one of the most stunning spots on the planet, the allure of la Bamboussaie is truly exceptional. The term "idyllic" falls short of capturing its true essence. It remains a cherished destination for us, and this marks our fifth visit. On this occasion, I managed to overcome my reservations about using my phone in French and pre-booked a table. We enjoyed a flawless lunch encompassing the ambiance, cuisine, and music. The harmonious blend was nothing short of remarkable. The staff, characterized by their helpfulness and kindness, patiently supported my efforts to enhance my French skills. They even went above and beyond to ensure Ottelie had an unforgettable experience. The culinary offerings were nothing less than exquisite, with the Bamboussaie burger ranking among the finest I've ever tasted. What an absolute delight! This was such a great restaurant! It is just like eating in the jungle. The food is tasty, the drink menu is very wide and the waitresses are very friendly. Conclusion, this is a fantastic place to come and dine!

Incredible place amidst a beautiful bamboo forest. The atmosphere is laid back. This restaurant is built around the idea of taking it easy so don’t expect a quick bite, but rather take your time and enjoy the surroundings, good food and good drinks with friends or family!

The tables are spread out quite well so that leaves room for a stroller (we had a 6 month old with us) and room to drive around a small electric mobility scooter.

We had an extensive 3 course lunch here of the course of 4 hours and never got the feeling that we needed to go.

Service is friendly, very helpful and can help you in French and some English. When they were out of vanilla ice cream, instead of letting us know they were out they went out and got some more! Proper service that makes me happy to recommend this restaurant to anyone who’s reading.

We have been here 4 times now, but this was the first time we sat down for lunch. As always the setting is absolutely wonderful, almost a fairy tale. We were a bit early for our reservation but the staff was super friendly so after a quick drink we could move to our table.

The food was terrific! The deluxe burger bamboise was probably the best burger ever 🍔🤩. The entrecote was perfectly cooked to request and was delicious. And the little 4 year old loved the fruit salad and the enormous vanilla ice cream 🍨

We had a wonderful meal. Chef translated the menu for us. Service was attentive, prices reasonable, and food delicious. Don't miss the duck breast and the jumbo shrimp with the special Tunisian shakshuka sauce.

Superbe lieu de calme pour boire un verre, grignoter ou plus. Le serveur est calme et agréable. Service rapide. Assis dans des salons de jardin confortable, parmi les bambous et petits bassins de poissons.
Il est également possible de se balader, dans les horaires d'ouverture, dans la grande plantation de bambou derrière, également au calme et bien ombragé.

Un repas dans une ambiance nature (étangs avec poisson, bambous, arbres) et détente(musique d'ambiance) à l'abri du vent.
Repas délicieux et service très agréable.
Nous y sommes retourner pour boire un coup histoire de profiter encore un peu du lieu.
