Fantastic restaurant with great food in a picturesque setting. The food is fantastic and recommend trying the 3-course menu, where you still have the option to select your starter, main and dessert. Staff if friendly. The location is great with also outdoor tables. Highly recommended!

One of my most favorite places, food, wine pairing, service, absolutely fantastic. Always ask for recommend wine with your choice of food, always a brilliant match! The BBQ foie gras was out of this world.

They change the menu every two days, I believe. I’m a local and come here quite often, and I can confidently say I was never disappointed. The food was always delicious, generous in quantity, reasonable in price and the service excellent as well. From the chefs to the waiters, all staff are extremely nice and helpful. The atmosphere is always nice as well, there’s space for many people, they chose good music to play on the speakers and the sound is high enough so you can hear it well, but not high enough to drown out your voice and make conversation near impossible. Would very much recommend if you’re in the area

We had an unforgettable dinner here for our wedding anniversary. The staff and resident dog Jack were very friendly. The food was delicious and locally sourced. The beautiful view from our table was the cherry on top! Next time we're in Limeuil we will be back!

We had visited twice before in the low season. It was quiet, the food was good and the service, by the chef's sister, also a sommelier, was delightful. This time it was high season, a French holiday and absolutely packed so we were slightly concerned having had to wait for ages at other restaurants in similar circumstances. No need to worry, the service was impeccable and the food fantastic, thank you for another most enjoyable meal. Highly recommended we will definitely be back for more.

We had the most perfect evening at Mamie M. The food was SO delicious, the service perfectly attentive and the wine was fantastic. Everything is locally sourced. A lot of thought has been to the decor and ambience which is cosy without feeling crowded. Cannot recommend more highly.

Such a beautiful restaurant. Great attention to detail in all aspects (food, service, drinks, decor, facilities). Well worth the climb from the village.

Lovely restaurant with a terrace shaded by wisteria. Set three-course menu with 4-5 options per course so plenty of options. Origin story of the inspiration for most dishes stemming from the chef's grandmother is a nice touch. €50-60 per person once you add delicious cocktails, wine and coffee.

We had a wonderful time at Mamie'M! The staff was very friendly and helpful, the atmosphere under the canopy of leaves is really unique and cozy, and the food was excellent. We left with full bellies and relaxed smiles. Highly recommended!

What a beautiful restaurant, in such a pretty old French village, lovely ambiance and decor...and (to our shame) they help you with perfect English...the menu was very good and the food was sublime (and locally sourced) - there's choices for vegetarians too). If you're looking for the best restaurant that France has to offer, in perfect surroundings, you must book a table! Fantastic place, food and staff! Go over there!

Delightful little restaurant perched towards the top of another well maintained ancient village. Good value , delicious, 3 course meal with local food and very good service from the owner family

Stumbled on this lovely place at the top of a medieval Bastide, we had no reservation and got lucky as April. Run by Antoine and his partner, the meal (and Chef) was charming and they took great care in talking to us, explaining the concept and how all the ingredients were locally sourced. Meal for 3 with a bottle of wine was about 200 euros, pricey but well worth it for such a beautiful setting and lovely food. Andy

Everything is set up to have a great evening and everything just works as it should. Finally someone that thinks outside the -Dordogne- box and while doing that, created something different and pure.
Vegetarian food was absolutely perfect!

This place is a jewel in the Perigord, run by chef Antoine, with his sister Ilona as sommelier. The restaurant honors the memory of their grandmother, using ingredients from close by, in the style of the region but updated in respectful and creative ways. The interior has two charming rooms, and the terrace, under a hundred-year-old wisteria vine, is incredibly pleasant. Antoine and Ilona are friendly, soulful people with real sense of fun and dedication to their craft. The menu changes every few weeks, and I am constantly surprised--we have been 6 or 8 times now--by the new items, always so good I don't miss the old. We just love the place.

You go to a restaurant to eat. This is the first time that I have gone to an establishment and been treated to a gastronomic and theatrical extravaganza. Antoine met us, introduced himself, treated us as friends, then as family talked us through the menu and the wines offered the wines to taste, predicted (correctly) which wines we would choose based on our tastes and presented us with a meal that was outstanding.
The menu rotates every fortnight so I won't go into detail other than to say you must experience it yourself!

I recently visited this restaurant in Limeuil and was completely captivated. The farm-to-table concept with local suppliers is not only responsible but adds an undeniable freshness to the dishes. The setting is simply exceptional, a true haven of peace that complements the culinary experience. The atmosphere is warm, making us feel right at home. It's truly a unique concept that you can't find anywhere else these days. I'd like to warmly thank the entire team, as well as the chef for his talent. I'm definitely planning to introduce this restaurant to my loved ones soon.

Food was very good, a surprise, not the traditional perigordine food, but very good “old fashioned” home made food your grandmother used to cook for you. We loved it!

truly a gem of a restaurant in a sweet warm corner of a spectacularly beautiful town! Food is incredibly delicious, so exquisite without being fussy, so wonderful to hold in your mouth and contemplate. And wonderful, complex vegetarian choices always available. The squash soup with walnut garnish is the best I have ever had. The chef, cooks and servers are warm, generous and are carrying on the tradition of their Mamie --grandmother, I wish I had had a grandmother who could do such magic in the kitchen.
