Le Belvédère

You can absolutely NOT beat the views here, and the food is not only great but comes out quickly. Don’t bother trying to make a reservation. Just come. The longest we have had to wait is one hour, and there is plenty to see nearby to occupy that time.

Great view, service, food. We enjoyed the set menu. Surprising for an obviously touristy location but well recommended.

Fantastic location and far better value than L’Esplenade next door.

The food was delicious, the staff were attentive (and spoke French, English, and Spanish), and the view was a feast.

Occasionally you just 'find a place'. We planned to visit Domme, but had no idea what to expect - found a car park and just walked along the road. Saw Le Belvedere and noted it was 'busy' (always a goods sign! ) Sat on the terrace and enjoyed a typical mid day 2hr lunch, 'French style'. Great service, wonderful variety and quality of food and incredible views across the valley.

We love this bar in winter, when it shrinks back to just the tiny indoor bar. It's shaded terrace is fabulous in the summer, the views are unsurpassed in an area rammed with amazing views and on days when the thermometer seems I like it might explode there is often a welcome breeze up here. It's a brilliant spot for a coffee, ice cream, crepe or a drink and relatively inexpensive for the location. The food is good if you want simple omelette/frites etc but a wee bit overpriced, that said it never ceases to amaze us what the tiny kitchen can produce- we tend to eat elsewhere but have desert here. Service is pretty efficient in summer but can be slow to get served when it is busy but at quieter times of the day the staff have time to chat and it's very relaxed. You can sit and nurse a coffee or drink for as long as you like. When you go for a desert or drink you will want to come back-maybe not if you have a meal. Treat this like a bar which it is and not like a restaurant which it isn't and just sit back and enjoy the view.

Great little cafe to sit and take in the most spectacular views. There's a simple menu, we had coffee and a banana split which was delicious and really good value. The staff were very pleasant.

Really nice lunch here. I had the magret (duck) which was delicious. Very accommodating for our dogs. Sat on the terrace with a lovely view down from Domme. Highly recommended

Love returning to this place, particularly for an evening ice cream and a glass of wine. And the views are just stunning.

We went to this amazing restaurant last night. High up in the hills overlooking the river. We watched the sunset and then there was a firework display. The food was absolutely amazing. Great service. Would recommend the duck breast. Can I go back for breakfast? 🤣👍

Very nicely located Restaurant with a great View. Very good food (try the Assiette Peregourdine), plenty of good drinks and friendly staff. See you soon again!
