Taire du Grel - Gites de Vacances

We stayed a week in a very well set up 4 bed gite. Lovely grounds and setting and really helpful and knowledgeable hosts. Great views and refreshing pool to cool off. 20 minute plus walk to Domme but very steep gradient and you will need a torch for after dark. In the gite are booklets on walks and bike rides, but you will need some French to get the most out of the Promenade and Randonnees folder. Ben was really helpful with sourcing canoes and mountain bikes and recommendations for activities and restaurants. The only thing which would have improved the facilities: a really sharp knife in the otherwise well equipped kitchen. I would like to return!

Having stayed at Taire Du Grel on many occasions, we can only recommend this Holiday vacation site as the best ever for friendliness, location and superb accommodation. A great deal of thought has been put into these Gites and each property is well laid out and stylish. The surrounding land offers a swimming pool with deck area and the gardens are beautifully kept and spacious especially for children. From Taire Du Grel there are so many lovely walks to take and in about 20 minutes, you can be in Domme where there are many eateries, ice cream to die for and last but not least the fabulous views of the Dordogne valley. The owners Maria and Ben are such warm and friendly people who will go the 'extra mile' to make a holiday a 5star experience.!

Great gites with beautiful, clean accommodation in lovely peaceful surroundings but well placed for all the local attractions. The owners are a really lovely family who will go out of their way to help & gave great advice on things to do, places to visit, restaurants to eat at, etc etc. Would definitely stay again & recommend these gites, wonderful!!!!!!!

What a beautiful place to be. I found everyone to be extremely helpful and obliging. Nothing was too much trouble. It was very quiet, but not far from lots of different activities and beautiful towns and villages. would definitely go back again.

Run by a fun and welcoming family in a beautiful setting. Great facilities and a clean comfortable environment to return to after a day of exploration.

Fantastique. Paisible, tranquille et pas loin de la belle petite ville de Domme. Tout est impécable, l'hôte est très gentil. Belle piscine, jardins, badminton, kanoë...Belle région.

Un agréable petit accent Britannique pour vous accueillir, l'endroit est magnifique nos filles voulaient venir y vivre et acheter la maison de nos hôtes, on y reviendra en été pour profiter de la piscine.
