Lovely guy, nearing his retirement, who tells me it is the oldest bar in town, 30 years in the making.
Didn't eat, beer was fresh 👌

We love this little pub in Issigeac. Moose the owner does a great pint of Stella. It’s family owned and a great place for a drink or two sitting outside watching life go by. In the summer months they also do some pub food as well. Every time we are in Issigeac we go to this great little pub.

This is a place where you order your stuff at the bar and then a waiter brings them to your table. They allow you to bring whatever they don't sell to your table, so I've got the croissants from across the road. Coffees are superb every time. The whole experience seems genuine to me though I don't have a good knowledge of southern France's culture to appraise this. To me it feels like heaven, and this accounts for the picturesque decor, the quality of their products, the atmosphere and the french staff taking your orders and giving you their best.

Lovely typically French bar with a sun-trap terrace in the beautiful mediaeval market town of Issiegeac. To be sure of a warm welcome, tell the barman that you're Irish!

Nous avons consommé des boissons chaudes dans une bonne ambiance avec un fond de musique jazz ... L'endroit est magnifique et chaleureux.

Les croques terriblement excellent, prix très correct, le patron est un amour super sympa et l’employé aussi . N’hésitez pas je vous recommande cette endroit

Nous sommes en juillet 2023 et on a été super bien servis, excellente qualité de plats, prix correct, chaleureux et pas un attrape touristes, une petite carte mais au moins du produit frais. Et contrairement à certains commentaires, nous avons payé en CB. Peut-être que tout le monde n'a pas la même expérience, mais pour nous c'était au top du top. Nous pensons y retourner.

Pas de note pour la cuisine, nous faisions juste une pause-café .
Quel endroit atypique, le temps c'est arrêté il y a qq décennies..
Cadre très original tout à fait approprié dans un vieux village comme Issigeac.
Une affaire de famille semble t'il :
Le paternel aux fourneaux, le fils et la fille au bar et en salle.
Une bien belle parenthèse dans cette après-midi ensoleillée.

Cadre original, carte et cuisine simple mais bonne et goûteuse, ça vaut le détour. Serveur très agréable et à l écoute

Découvert par hasard, nous sommes tombé sous le charme du lieu! Patron très accueillant, nous allons y retourner à coup sûr!

Bar sympa dans un lieu typique du Périgord. Un endroit idéal pour profiter d'un verre ou d'un café.

Als je in de Dordogne bent, ga maar gerust hier naar toe voor een heerlijke maaltijd. Neem de tijd want het eten wordt met zorg bereid
