A must visit restaurant if in the area!

This will forever be my partner's and I favourite restaurant in the world! This is our 2nd time returning and remains a highlight of our holiday each year. The standard of food here is unbelievably high and always blows us away. Absolutely fantastic food and service here everytime with waiters who are so helpful and friendly too. The presentation is always fantastic as well as innovative. Every dish we had was 10/10 and we enjoyed every bite! The handmade chocolates at the end with our coffees were delicious and went down a treat!

Cant wait to return next year :)

Can't praise this place high enough. It is superb on every count from the perfectly lit fire to the discreet light and table decoration. The service was first class and the food a real joy. It would be nice to see a wider choice though. I don't eat fois gras or veal and they were the two main choices on all priced options including the Carte. But what I did choose was so good it didn't matter at all. If I could give 6 stars I would. Can't wait to go back there later in the year.

A outstanding dining experience. Our first visit to celebrate a special birthday and anniversary. Food delicious, fine wines and the service was impeccable.
Highly recommended if you are in the area...or worth driving to.

We had not been back for a few years but we are so glad we returned. Amazing meal, wine and ambience. Wonderful staff. Thank you Victoria.

It's not often you have a dinner and cannot fault a single thing. But they pull it off.

I've just experienced an exceptional lunch at L'Atelier in Issigeac, France.
The restaurant was highly recommended by friends who have recently moved to France and their glowing reviews proved to be very accurate.
For starters I had the scallop capparcio with carrot juice (not pictured) which was light and refreshing on the pallete, the thin slices simply dissolved in the mouth. It was the perfect way to start although personally I felt it lacked a little zing which perhaps a squeeze of lime juice may have cured.
For the main course I chose the veal and winter vegetables with a delicious chestnut sauce which was superb. The veal was perfectly cooked and the combination with the chestnut sauce was sublime, I slowed my eating to half pace just so I could enjoy it for longer.
For dessert I went for the meringue in a passion fruit jus with nougat ice cream inside which was a perfect ending. The tart passion fruit sauce with the sweet meringue was a marriage made in heaven and the nougat ice-cream inside was delicious. I had to stop myself from licking the plate!
To drink I chose a glass of local Bergerac Les Terres Chaudes which paired perfectly with the veal main.
The staff were efficient, friendly and happy to switch to English when our French vocabulary failed us.
For just over 55€ including wine the restaurant is exceptional value and I will definitely be returning when I'm next in Bergerac. Cannot be faulted.

Really excellent dinner tonight at l’atilier, we had the sensation menu and it did not disappoint, the langoustine was a highlight but every dish was superb. The accompanying wine was also great and the cheese was amazing. I would not hesitate to come back to this restaurant and would recommend. For the food, service and atmosphere I thought it was really good value. Keep up the brilliant work. Thanks Ben

Excellent food and service. We arrived early and shown to our table. We had drinks served promptly and not rushed to place our choice of food. We were ready to be helped by the waitress. Would not hesitate to recommend it, but book your table well in advance to not be disappointed.

This was our second visit and it truly exceeded our expectations.
We opted for the signature menu, a 6 course meal created by the chef paired with 6 different wines.
The food was outstanding and the wines superb.
The service was exceptional, we
have already booked our next visit for January.

Amazing place. We turned up on the Sunday for lunch during the Market but it was fully booked. You must book in advance. We had foie gras for starters and Fillet steak for mains. The steaks were nicely cooked and tender. The Foie Gras came with toasted brioche which goes perfectly well with the Foie Gras! Great atmosphere, very attentive staff. Would highly recommend.
