The Baker's Arms

This is such a nice pub / restaurant. It was refurbished not long ago, and it looks great.
The food was excellent along with the service.
Please note that they do add a service charge to your bill.
The only other issue is that drinks are not cheap at all.
Overall, very good.

Came for Sunday roast after a day out at the Bournemouth and had the best pork belly roast dinner I've ever had. Beautiful meat. Crispy crackling, yummy roasts, veg and a baked apple. Food was fantastic and the service was order and pay at bar but all staff were amazingly nice especially the guy who bought out our food who catered to every need. What a legend. Thanks for a great evening. Would highly recommend

The food was incredible. Vegetarian meals were absolutely delicious and not bland as usual! I had a small incident with a dirty glass and the waiter was so apologetic and sorted it right away. Other than that. Absolutely fantastic service. Lovely atmosphere. And incredible food.

Came Sunday for roast. Treated and services really good. Drink garnished and presentation was great. Food was expensive however tasty and a LARGE amount!! Beth and Emily who serviced us were great.

Very comfortable traditional Inn on the edge of Lytchett Minster just off the main road West from Poole. Good pub food menu, welcoming real fires for colder days and a nice layout with both restaurant and bar lounge areas. Well kept ales and reasonable prices. On a return visit in the sunshine, there is also a good selection of tables outside.

Absolutely stunning and relaxed country pub. The food was amazing as was the good old fashioned service. Our server, Lee was brilliant making us feel very welcome. If you are in the area then you must visit this very dog friendly pub. Csnt wait to return.

Just in the area for a short break and drove past this place a few hours ago and thought we'll eat there later, and really glad that we did.
The menu wasn't overloaded it had just the right amount of dishes so as not to be confusing, good information regarding allergies and a variety of vegan dishes, we chose 5 dishes from the starter menu and they were absolutely delicious, especially the king prawns with chorizo, sorry for not taking pictures but we were to keen to get stuck in.
The staff were on point, friendly warm and made it very clear that they were there to make our visit as comfortable and possible.
So if you're in the area on break you will not be disappointed if you stop in for something to eat.

Such a hidden gem. Food fantastic! Had a roast here with my family and I would say it was the best I've ever had. We were looked after by Chrisie and Ellie who were both so kind and helpful and made us all feel really at home. Would definitely recommend and will be back next week!!

Absolutely delicious food. We went and enjoyed the roast dinner and it was cooked perfectly. They were very kind to my 2 year old nephew who was very hungry and thus bouncy, making sure he had some crayons to occupy himself with. It was a lovely end to our holiday and would recommend this place to anyone in the area.

We come to this pub every week for the quiz and tonight we had dinner also to celebrate a family birthday. The staff were nothing but friendly and accommodating both before the night and during the evening. We had such a lovely evening as always and dinner was spot on! Our waitress was so polite, attentive and knowledgeable, and took an allergy in our party very seriously, paying attention to the smallest details to make sure everything was perfect. Thank you so much for making our evening! ❤

We would highly recommend The Bakers Arms because the staff (Sarah) were so naturally welcoming with kindness and warm. The food was above expectations, but most of all, the atmosphere was perfect for our family dog. Massive praise for Sarah because she was incredible to have a waitress because she was funny and fabulous throughout our stay and we didn’t want to leave

Came here on a beautiful sunny day for lunch! Had a gorgeous beef brisket sandwich with fries (I asked for fries instead of chips) and it was absolutely delicious my mum and brother had the same and we all loved it! Great place for a lovely dinner or celebration for lunch as it is on the higher end of the price scale (but not at all astronomically) definitely recommend this place, the staff were very lovely, helpful and great to talk to!

The food was really good. And the service was even better.. We had our little boy with us who is aged 5. The lady who served us believe her name was Eleana.. our little boy loves role play and was pretending to take our orders on his tablet.. Eleana asked if he wanted to take our pudding order on her ordering tablet.. he was over the moon she then asked if he wanted to come into the kitchen to bring out our puddings which was a lovely touch as it was our wedding Anniversary.. he loved doing it and everyone was clapping him. Another young girl asked if he wanted to set a table that she was doing.. this all made his day/week on his holidays... he was super proud of himself... this was going above and beyond the service expected.. getting the little ones involved.. fantastic service from those mentioned and all the people working that day... on top of the food being spot on.. thankyou

Sunday lunch was amazing. Beautifully presented and very tasty. We liked it so much we returned the following day for lunch. Brilliant service,great staff and fabulous food !

Part of the Vintage Inns group. Good quality food and choice of drinkks. Extensive menu and lunchtime special on offer. Friendly efficient service ,comfortable ambient surroundings. Premises under refurbishment outside but inside no problem. Plenty of free parking on site.

Absolutely fantastic meal, Scalops, chorizo, peas with pea shoots followed by Ribeye steak(medium rare of course) with triple cooked chips, onion rings, salad and the best beef dripping sauce I've ever tasted.
Probably the best meal I've ever had, and that's saying something. Please if you in the area just try it... You won't regret it

Stopped by today for lunch on our way to a camping holiday. Great service by Candice, really warm, welcoming and friendly. Lovely food.

Emily is wonderful. great food as ever. Very good customer loyalty scheme. Happy to recommend to others. Lasagne dish is lovely
