The Snug Micropub

If you like beer and trains - you’ll love this bar. Word of warning though - if you arrive by car and park on the Station car park - you’ll have to pay via a smart phone - far better letting the train take the strain.

Nice little micropub set in Carnforth Railway Heritage Centre. Good selection of real ales which we sampled. Although not busy in the photo it soon had a few people in. We had a Good craic with the owner while we were there.

Both lovely ales. Good laugh with the staff & regulars. Shame we couldn't stop for more.

Brilliant little pub at the station. Nice selection of good beers at good prices. Friendly and worth rocking up to ahead of your train if traveling. Worth going to regardless. Made what might have been a long soulless wait for my train a pleasure. Recommended without reservations.

This pub I was a bloody great pub to visit if you wanted great real ale in a propper station pub enviroment
My only issue is that please open more often to the public so they can drink the great real ales served here
Friday 18th August 2023 again this great real ale micro pub was visited
All hand pumps on were from interesting small breweries
Tha land lord a real ale coniseur the lake
District ale I had was fantastic as 90% of lake district ales are.
The locals were superb, even the man who's supported care needs from Bell end road😭
This great pub on Carnforth train station is a double essential visit when in Carnforth for all real ale drinkers👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Tonight, we again visited rhis Great Real pub on Carnforth traain station
This pub is a great pub you cant knock 10 out of 10 and should always be loved

Very friendly,quirky micropub .Excellent real ales served by a knowledgeable landlord and landlady.Situated in an old waiting room on the historic Carnforth railway station.
Also serves,Wine,Cider,Gin,Soft drinks etc.

What a great little pub within 5 mins of arriving we made lots of friends great selection of real proper beer at good prices I would highly recommend this lovely snug

Welcoming, friendly stop off with 5 changing 'exotic' cask ales. Come here if you like good well kept beers and chatting with friendly strangers and the odd strange regular: like me, ha!

Great little boozer, great beer and the landlord and customers were friendly and very helpful

Great micro pub on the railway station. Fantastic range of beers ( all served in proper glasses !), friendly and knowledgeable staff. The trains periodically rolling past also added to the atmosphere, will definitely be back again soon.

Great pub to sit and watch the trains go by, beer was great as well, and it was definitely worth getting the later train!

A warm welcome every time and an excellent choice of ales etc. Greg is an exceptional host and prides himself on his beer etc selection. Shame it is so far from home, could be a problem if the bar was on my doorstep. Take a trip to The Snug and enjoy a beer with the option to take more home.
